Thinking of switching since my year deal with BT ends in a couple weeks. Unfortunately cos I moved house 5 months into contract with BT my land line was extended 12 months so I'll have to pay BT for a landline until December if I switch, which is annoying. Anyone got experience of now TV broadband? Would be nice if you could get free entertainment and movies with it haha
Still awaiting my Quidco claim from Now TV 3 months later.... and the associat3d quidco bonus

I switched to their broadband and it went smoothly however no sweetener of movies/entertainment. Because of where I live it is not superfast fibre. See comment below wrt quidco.

Now TV is part of Sky so this is going to be pretty much the same as Sky broadband, whether that's good or bad I don't know.

I'm with how tv fibre and and have no complaints switched from sky broadband which was worse than my talk talk broadband.
I switched to now tv from BT. Worst decision ever. Nothing but problems and none existent customer service.
Would take talk talk over now tv.
I switched from BT to NowTV Combo and am now back with BT. However if BT increased their prices, I'd be happy to go back to NowTV broadband. Didn't notice much of a difference between the speeds or customer service but I might have just been lucky. The worst thing about NowTV was the rubbish router (NR701) that they sent out but I swapped it out for a Sky broadband one (ER115) and that was fine. They may now be offering those as standard.

So the speed should be just as good? Get 38 with BT near the router, drops to under 20 in my bedroom
I have just realised Now Broadband isnt on the list?

Are you talking about wireless speed drop, or a wired speed drop? Wireless is a completely seperate issue to which is the best company. Plusnet have a terrible router but I am with Plusnet. Just use your own router for all these different companies.... Most give you a cheap £30 or £40 router, and so no wonder it's no good.

yeah, wireless. I currently am on BT but think I will have to return their router

it isn't now so maybe you should retitle the post to say £100 quidco. Still a good deal and the one I am gonna go for. Just worried what I will have to pay BT now since my deal with them ends on 13th june but soonest switch date to now broadband is 18th. I rang BT a few weeks ago to ask what day I needed to switch by to avoid any extra charges from them and they told me I just have to switch by the 13th, which is blatently untrue. I would rather my service end with them on 13th and I have no connection until 18th

True that, or bridge a better router from Sky/Now router for a better WiFi signal. My Sky Q doesn’t like the brick wall between it and the bedroom I frequently have to Airplane mode my iphones. Roku box sometimes does the same, it’s always one or the other but most frequently the iPhones over a cheap ass Roku box...go figure!

No if one provider drops then it takes weeks and you probably will get a cessation fee from BT where most others swallow it up, greedy pants wants every penny they can vulture out of you.

Paying 5 days service to BT will be hundreds of % cheaper than the cessation fee and you will be without broadband for weeks past the 18th as it’s a ‘new’ broadband order.

Will expire since the £20 gone, it’s not like people are seeing it this cold anyway lol

They will all just be taking Voda Fibre now! Good luck to them lol.

That’s exactly what happens if you are complete your minimum term

BT called me today and offered me 22.99 PM plus a £50 mastercard , a brand new 12 month contract which wipes the £45 line rental fee I owe until December because I moved house 6 months into my original contract and they renewed the line rental for 12 months. Which works out cheaper and less hassle than Now Broadband for me. Wish they'd offered me this deal a month before my contract ended or I wouldn't have had to try to switch lol
