Are pets i.e. dogs allowed in Travelodge rooms?

To be honest, apart from a lock on the bathroom door and a few spotlights, I find very little actual difference between the two.
Where is @Joey.Bloggsy ?

It's ok, I've found him

Very true, Travelodge have really upped their game over the past ten years - especially so their newly built hotels.
Thanks

Premier Inn has much comfier beds and better rooms.
Some of newer ones have large wall-mounted TVs and ceiling-mounted aircon/heating units - just like the newer Premier Inns. So, almost as good and always cheaper.

Still no hairdryers tho ;-)

Cheers OP, was hoping for a new Easter promotion from Travelodge.

I'd have to agree. Travelodges are a bit TOO spartan - and everything is screwed down!
Excellent, thank you.

B**locks....just booked a 2 night stay within these dates last week
10% cash back with Santander card aswell (not sure if all Santander accounts )
Thanks OP. A cheap getaway and some whilst not luxury are quite acceptable. Read reviews first as they do vary.

You have to be careful you are comparing like for like though. Both chains are quite variable, so if you compare an older Premier Inn with a new Travelodge, you wont see much difference. I've always thought Premier Inn breakfasts offered slightly more choice, however, when it comes to family rooms Travelodges have always been better for me - they usually contain two proper sized single beds, whereas Premier Inns usually have a folding bed and less room.
