Thought this was decent for no long tie-in, includes Roam like at home and smart cap so stops you going over your allowance, no tethering charges and a decent 6GB 4g Data - Now live

Also includes‌Roam Like at Home (https://www.plus.net/help/mobile/roam-like-at-home/) which allows you to use your mobile plan allowance to make and receive calls, send texts and use data when you're roaming in any of our Roam Like at Home destinations, rather than paying roaming charges.

UK Mobile coverage Search by postcode or place, and check if you are well covered by 4G, 3G and 2G

Good if you need the extra 1GB but I personally went for the Plusnet deal with Argos for £11pm with 5GB and £20 Argos voucher

Well priced... save £2/m for 1GB less or spend another £1/m for another 2GB with Three.
I've gone with the 2GB Plusnet deal (£7/m)
This is a cracking deal. 6GB for £13 is really good.

I'm currently with Tesco mobile and got my PAC code this week. They said that PlusNet only give 4g speeds for the first 3.5gb of data, and 3g after that - is that true?

Not true
'smartcap' is a joke. There's nothing smart about it, aside from plusnet being tw@ttingly smart about extracting more £££ if you don't watch your data usage like a hawk.
You cannot request that you get a 'data cut-off' if you reach your data limit. You will still get data & be charged extra for it (something like £1 per 500MB). The extra charge is auto-set at £5 or £6 pm iirc before you get data cut off. The lowest you can set it at is £3 per month.

I’m sure when I looked the other day this was £12. If you’re with their broadband you can get this for £11 before midnight.

I like Plusnet, good deals, and U.K. call centres. You don’t appreciate this until you use the clowns at Virgin (foreign call centres).

Obviously I’m not sure of your reasons for leaving Tesco but just incase you hadn’t seen or been made aware they currently do 5000mins 5000texts and 6GB for £12.50. Only downside in comparison is that it’s for 12months not rolling.
Had this deal plus unlimited mins for £10 on black friday deal
I prefer the 6gb for £10pm I got from them during black Friday week
Been with Plusnet since January and had absolutely no issues, great speeds and UK call centres. The website is basic but tells you what you need to know (you can't change tariff online)
Just renewed with Three for another 12 months, and got 8GB data, unlimited calls, unlimited texts for £10pm.
I've got 5GB, unlimited min&txt for 7.50£... Just call them and ask about PAC Code and they should give you better offer than above
Not that great a deal.
Got a Three sim only for 12 months, 12GB data, unlimited texts and calls for £9 after redemption.
I found that deal on here.

Been with Plusnet since October, only problem with them is that they don't allow short-code numbers, bit of a pain really, and couldn't find it in their terms and conditions when I signed up to them, as soon as a good deal comes along with another provider I will be leaving them as they said they will never allow you to send short-code numbers but will allow them to be sent to you.
Plusnet downgraded my 4G to 3G when roaming abroad.
Does this deal require a credit check?
I have 6GB, unlimited calling and text, 30 days rolling for £7.50 with Plusnet
I managed to get this for £10 with virgin after haggling it is techinically 2gb but get 3x lifetime data, coverage might not be as good but might interest some people. 30 day rolling.
Worst customer service

Or pay £2 more and get Unl calls, text, 12GB data with Three.

You can only use 12GB data if you get any network coverage. I had been with three for many years and their signal strength is crap.

Yes you can't text short code numbers, use WiFi calling and the answer phone is intermittent at best.
But other than that good network and competitive nearest deal is virgin mobile but they also don't support WiFi calling.
Vodafone are doing extra 3gb data free till early April so gives you 5gb with WiFi calling for £10 but it's a 12month contact.
for BT customers , bt have same deal for £12 plus £65 master card
Plusnet aren't what they were. Just look at their Trust Pilot reviews. They royally and unlawfully screwed me for ditching them under a cooling off period to the tune of £185. Such a shame they couldn't behave in an honest way.
I have 25gb unlimited min/tex for £13 with bt
Sorry to troll every plusnet deal. It's a horrible company. They hang up the phone when I give them a reason to cancel my contract. Each call I have to wait over 20 minutes. After 2,3,4 months I still receive bill to say. That's my balance is 0. I have to manually cancel my direct debit. Roaming speed is a joke. Using in Germany. I don't vote cold or hot. Just give some people a warning

The only problem with PlusNet mobile is there are issues with getting text and voicemail notifications and ststus bar icons for voicemail messages, missed calls and incoming texts. I've just moved from EE and not a problem there.
Best network at moment is smarty unlimited calls and texts and 4GB for £10 a month
virgin mobile is offering 6gb, 2500minutes and unlimited txts @£10, 12 months contract though

Been with plusnet mobile for a while now totally not true
Just re-signed with EE retentions...
4GB 4G Data / Unlimited Mins / Unlimited Texts - £9pm. If that’s of any use to anyone. Very forthcoming, no haggling required. Just mention a couple of deals you’ve seen in that price bracket from the Sim Only thread on HUKD.

smartcap is a waste if you ask me, and like you said it just carries on whether you want or not, unless you keep a close eye on it.

The lowest is £2 a month as thats what i lowered mine to and i think its £1 for 250mb, as i went over mine by 1mb, and that was to just go on plusnet website to see how much data i had used, proper pi$$ed me off.

Strange that you have put up with that for many years.
Never thought about switching to a provider where the signal was better in your area?

Their retention deal got the better of me ! Greedy me ! Never again !
They are pretty good in retentions too. I was on this deal but still needed more data. They put me on 12gb data with unlimited minutes and texts for £15 a month. 30 day rolling as usual.
