For the price this is a pretty capable phone, with an Octa Core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which is expandable.

We bought this last week and it feels very premium. No issues with it so far.

Argos also offered us an accidental damage/instant replacement warranty for £3.99 a month. We'll keep this until we get a case

Can we exchange heat for monies?? If so I might have to use my retail industry contacts for heads up. Does explain why certain deals attract more heat as well.

Anyone?

If it helps at all, I've bought the A1 from a deal on here and just made this account to reply to your comment.

3 days in but this isn't the same sort of Chinese phone I've had before. It feels so premium it's unreal, I've fully charged it once since using it and it's really, really snappy. Display is nice, I like the fingerprint position and it's the first one I've ever used. Also got used to the back button being the other way around, more usable with me being primarily right handed too.

Honestly no gripes, camera is good. Not amazing but good! That's probably the only thing which isn't top notch imo. Buy one and don't even bother considering anything else for the price. I looked around for ages at videos, specs and even tried the redmi but 100% no better value for money than this!

God i bought this £229.99 with the hassle of having to get £50 back off Huwaei. Great phone though for the price

Is this phone DLNA compliant?
Anyone know if this is a worthy upgrade from a Moto G4?

Thanks, i think I'll get this then!
Is this better than a Redmi Note 5 or Mi A1?
Can you get the £50 trade in on top of that price/is trade in still on going?
Camera is terrible on this.

I've done this. Phone itself is smaller. Not a lot of difference in user experience so far

I thought as much... My Moto G4 is getting close to 2 years and apart from the battery not being as good as when i bought it its still good and snappy

Think the g4 processor was better than g5

I'll be interested in the g6 when it comes out shortly
Isn’t this better than Huwaei P10 light? Which has 4GB ram

Just done this two weeks ago! Phone much lighter and so far much smoother, quicker. It's early days but I am loving it

They do exchange heat for money technically. Most companies pay to be here... (its a business at the end of the day)

Great price and specs.
Crap cameras on this phone,I returned mine absolutely awful quality
Good phone, smooth operation, cameras are fine, night shots not great like most budget handsets,if you want great cameras I guess you need to spend more.

Heat added.

I'm just wondering did anyone ever get a screen problem with Huawei like mine above ?

It's on Huawei P8, I managed to claim the warranty before the warranty runs out.
I bought two P8. Both got the same problem. Both replaced by Huawei.

I think Huawei standard warranty is 2 years. You need a proof of purchase.

Ah, that's good to know. Another alternative anyway -- John Lewis customer service is usually excellent.

Might be better aiming for the honor 9 lite

Decent phone for this price imo.

The camera doesn't come set up with the optimal settings, from the units I've opened, so make sure you go into the settings and check.
