I'd say this was good for anyone like me, that doesn't necessarily manage to grind through loads of data every month, but could do with the mins. As per title it's 1GB 4G Data / 2000 Mins / 2000 Texts at £5pm on a 30 day rolling basis. Link should update around midnight.

I much prefer rolling anyway and normally just renew my handset every few years, I can't be the only one, surely.

Agree cs is awfull. Every time ive ported a number over they mess it up. Once your up and running though, its ok. But only 2 werks ago they were doing 1.5gb of data for same price.

is there any company out there that actually has good/amazing customer service? (mobile/broadband related)
I've ported over numbers from my mum and my 2 kids and never had a bit of bother. Excellent signal and very good value.

Tpo are shocking. I don' receive half my texts nor do they send out but my signal is fine. Wondering if these guys signal will be better...
I got the same plan with 1.5gb earlier this year
My son has an id sim 2GB 4G data 1000mins 1000txt for £5

Complain and they add credit to your account. I did!
They do good deals, but I’m leaving as no WiFi calling option on Plusnet, even though they use EE signal and EE offer it as standard
What network do they use or will I need a unlocked phone

I had that problem when I first got my sim but refreshing the APN settings on the phone sorted it.

Runs on three tho, threes network sucks. Terrible signal indoors and no 2g.
Just gonna post a reminder that Quidco is promoting the Three network 12GB data (including hotspot), unlimited texts and calls + feel at home for £13pm for 12 months with £60 cashback… works out at £8pm. That's a hell of an upgrade on this for £3pm more.

-edit but you do have to go for 12m contact

They piggy back on EE, but you will need an unlocked phone. I put their sim in my locked EE phone and it doesn't work.

Sadly expired now, but it was the best deal at the time...
Anyone who’s with them having a problem with their phone switching to WiFi when at home? Nothing wrong with my router and only had the issue since being with them.

Agree with the other guys, other than above I’ve never had an issue with the service but ordered over the phone and they spelt my common first name wrong. A few days later I told them and they said I’d have to email someone else to sort it out. Agreed that it wasn’t my fault but they couldn’t do it. Still wrong name coming through but as I said on their recorded call I did my duty to report it so it’s up to them.
It's ok if you need to be on EE for coverage, but if 3 network is better for you then iD mobile have a £5, 30 day plan with 2.25GB of data but you have to go through uswitch to get it

I've been with plusnet for ages no problems. Wouldn't say this is a great deal though, I'm currently on the £9 rolling SIM that gets you 4gb data 2000 minutes and 2000 texts. However I pay £6.75 (25% discount). As I said I was going to leave.

You should also enable data roaming (You won't be charged while in the UK or actually Europe in general). I think this is an issue with Plusnet using sIm cards that at one stage were or are registered as Orange SIM cards and therefore think they are roaming depending on what mask you connect too. (Read that in plusnet forum while back). It's the only thing that will get my mother's phone to work with their data.

EE/Plusnet signal is quite dodgy for us at home and while we get okay 4G signal. Calls will be very hit and miss and people constantly complain about me skipping words and being distorted. Although I can hear them fine so it's quite odd.

I'm on 3.5Gb for £6 so definitely not going to cancel. (Discounted for being a loyal customer, Been with them since April).

You are better going for iD if your handset supports 4G calling and WiFi calling as it supports both.

Otherwise, I had to switch between my handset 2G only on Asda mobile (EE too) to make voice calls.
It works but the data is very slow.

Excellent deal. Super Hot

Managed to get the 1.5GB deal @ xmas for the same money.
Thanks OP. Changed for the aunt
Heated OP, just posted it myself as couldn't find it with a search of 'plusnet £5' I guess it's because you have put £5pm and it needs a space £5 pm A good deal, I rang to upgrade mine and they offered me 1.5gb/2000mins/unlimited txts for the £5
Edited by: "retrogeezer" 24th Jan
If you are an existing plusnet broadband customer you can get the same deal but with 1.5gb data. Just switched my lesser Plusnet mobile deal to this when my current 30 day rolling period is up
Or an existing phone customer as that is exactly what they gave me.
Ended up cancelling as they couldn't sort the issue. They didn't refund my first month as I was one day over cancellation period( due to them asking me to call back in a few days every time I called). Also had the cheek to tell me I'll be charged for next month too, for a service I can't use. They've done me alright
Wife and I have the same plan for a £1.

That's why I prefer Giffgaff, as it's online customer service only, and pay as you go.

I'm having the same problem. Signed up on Saturday and ported number same day and they still haven't transferred it and it is now Thursday and the Customer service has been terrible!
