Am I right in thinking you need to size up at least one size with SuperDry

RevHWan19 m ago

Hi are these any good for -5 to -10 temperatures

Think of it this way, they aren’t super and won’t keep you dry, and with that probably hav. No connection to the artic either. for temperatures like that spend your money on something more suitable if you want to be down with the kids and not worried about being dry then this is for you.

Used to like superDry but now it’s the chavs cloth of choice...fake ones at that!!,I won’t wear the brand anymore.....don’t want to get mistaken for a fake wearing a chav.

Everyone says it's chavy but in my opinion there are way more "chavy" brands out there such as Lacoste, Armani and North Face. It's a shame as they give a bad brand image but the businesses don't care cause all the "badmans" can afford it and will buy it at whatever cost... Innit... All jokes aside, it's a disappointment.

I was looking to get a jacket for my nephews 16th birthday. I have no idea what size I should get him, he’s around 5ft 5/6 and an average build I would say. I know he’s a small adult in football tops. Can anyone help?

Go for M or L whichever fits keep and send the other back but check their returns policy. Give him both and see which fits best

I'm normally a Large size but had to get XXL on these jackets for same fitting. Always go 2 sizes up

Thanks for the tip. He’s a nightmare and is one of those kids who would rather walk about without a jacket on but I know if he had one of these he would wear it as he’s been asking for one for ages.

Don't want to throw a spanner in the works but I'm 5ft 7, athletic build and I bought the xs which fits perfectly. If he's not overly fit though I'd go for the small

Thanks, I appreciate it. He’s not overly fit no, I’m surprised he’s not huge the junk he eats mind you. I keep telling him it will catch up with him one day

It’s live now

And it’s 20% off all jackets, still went with the Arctic though.

These any good? Says mainly polyester.

Good if you are after one of the current designs specifically, but if you don't mind getting one from last season they can be significantly cheaper on the Superdry eBay store.

Only issue with going up in sizes is the arms.

I wear Superdry shirts for work (as they are very comfortable and wash well) but I am medium/large in most places. Superdry I have to get xl and get the sleeves taken up.

The hut are doing superdry 40% off 1 hour only use code FRI40

Not really. This is just a fashion brand, not proper arctic / winter clothing.

The logos everywhere are also ridiculous...

I've been looking for a decent winter jacket for around £150 (primarily less) any you would suggest as seeing the common 'thermal/arctic' north face and Canada goose jackets cost well into the 300s+

I don't know but when I was in Stockholm last year at this time (when it absolutely freezing) nobody was wearing this Super Dry stuff!

it says 109 euros for me

Personally im not impressed with the price cuts as i just bought 6 jackets from craghoppers that had 60%- 70% off.

Its called SuperDry because it makes women 'super dry' when men wear it hahaha

Whilst I agree that 20% off full price SuperDry isn't the bargain of the century Craghoppers is a completely different brand, and a mostly different market.

Craghoppers is middle of the road outdoor gear, and they over price and then have these big sales regularly.

Superdry are very expensive but generally very good quality stuff, I buy a lot of things from the Superdry Ebay outlet (where the deals are much better than 20% off) just because the quality of the clothes is so much better than your typical high street fashion brand. Full price is eye watering, but the eBay outlet is much more reasonable.

Don’t know about jackets, but I bought some cargo trousers, and they seemed two sizes bigger than the stated size! They’ll take stuff back and replace or refund, though.
