Ha Ha "A year of blockbusters..."
More like a year of old movies with the occasional half-decent one.

I wouldn't pay for a year as I really struggle to find anything to watch, the attraction of Now TV is that you can buy a month every now and then without having to subscribe.

I really don't want to have to sign up for a new email address.

Sign up for a gmail account and you can create variations of your email address to allow multiple registrations from the same email address without signing up for multiple gmail accounts. This works because gmail ignores full stops in email addresses but most websites don't.

For example Gmail treats user@gmail.com exactly the same as u.ser@gmail.com, us.er@gmail.com, u.s.er@gmail.com, etc whereas most websites (such as Now TV) treat these as separate addresses.

As a bonus gmail can be used to gather all of your email accounts in one place so you effectively end up with a single account.

Most films available are B rated made-for-day-time TV movies. That said there are the occasional reasonable quality offerings.

So does Netflix and amazon prime to be fair
I bought the cinema pass but when i tried to buy the entertainment pass it said I already had an account (which I set up for the cinema pass) and wont let me set up the entertainment pass at that price.. any help gratefully recieved!
My dad got me the dual pass for 99 quid on Black Friday.
£12.50 quidco at the time
Split it with my mate for £49.50 as you can watch 2 different things at any given time - so splitting the cost is a good shout if you live on your own!

So for just over 3 quid a month, I'm finding it really good value! Plus my dad is happy that he's getting me a lot more gift for the money

Can I watch NOW TV outside the UK?
As well as watching all over the UK with no restrictions, you can take your NOW TV Passes with you to many European countries too, for up to 30 days at a time.

To enjoy roaming with NOW TV outside the UK, you must:

  • Have a UK payment card registered on your account
  • Have watched NOW TV on your account in the UK within the last 30 days
  • Be in one of the EU countries listed below – you can't watch NOW TV in any non-EU countries.
You don't need to do anything differently when watching NOW TV outside the UK. Just make sure the country you're in is covered

Are there any deals for existing customers to get movies and entertainment for a year?

Ive read once you buy 1 of these passes on a new email then you can’t add the other, as these are for new customers only. Unless you can buy both at once?
Need to put existing accounts only in the title
Movie pass just ran out yesterday, anyone seen any cheapo's about
thetarget19th Dec 2018

Both.
Do they gives you access to all the movies on Sky, I bought sky entertainment for The Walking Dead but they don’t have it... showing it will be available from certain dates
Would love to make the jump from Sky to NowTV and a cheap standalone broadband provider but I don't think I can get by without being able to record...
Just get a £40 a year IPTV service, most TV's have the SmartIPTV app or can be loaded onto a Firestick or whatever else.
At least then you get access to other things as-well.
Also free 1 months for this are knocking around all over.

Yes, all movies are available.
There’s normally some Quidco going begging too
I wish it was 1080p and 5.1
I paid £50 for a 12 month subs iptv 12 on my zgemma box for everything

Doesn’t that involve stealing content though? Dodgy streaming and piracy?
Is there a kids pass

Is there a kids pass

Yes it’s £3.99 a month
Now TV Entertainment is a bag of crap compared to Netflix.
If you give them a call they will still do 12m combo deals. I have just got unlimited fibre broadband, line rental, payg calls, entertainment, kids and cinema for £36 pm for 12m which I thought was good value.

Apparently, now TV will be recordable on BTTV sometime around the middle of this year; the deal has been done.

Anyway to apply any of these to existing accounts?

When I stopped my sub I was offered a month for £5
I didnt take it up so my sub stopped and a day after I was offered 3 months for the price of one which I took up

but because you can cancel your sub at any time and restart it at any time then there is really no downside in stopping your sub when you don't have a deal
so if If i was you i would cancel my sub and wait a few days after it ends to see if you get offered a deal you have really nothing to loose

Totally agree. We have prime for the delivery & prime Now (small kids- it’s a lifesaver). We do use the movies but infrequently. Mostly when there is a promo like the current 1.99 rentals we’ll get a handful we want using credit from no-rush delivery.
Wouldn’t consider prime video as a reason to pay £70/yr
Why never for current members. So frustrating how so few companies reward loyalty. Nespresso is the only one I can think of off the top of my head where there is a real benefit to staying for years at a time.

Buy a freesat humax recorder and a now TV box (has Netflix on it). I only ever pay £10 month at most for Netflix or now TV movies or now TV entertainment. Saved an absolute fortune.

Would never go back to sky!

Thanks OP just re-signed up
