SKY, Just give everyone the opportunity to purchase the full package sports included £100 a year to save yourself from the end... 90% of people I know with a sky package are quitting it for good when their current contract ends, myself included.
Honestly I wouldn't bother, had a month's free trial again.and there's nothing new on worth watching! Your best off just getting the odd rental from chili these days I think
All I will say is, pray that nothing ever goes wrong, you can't 'speak' to anyone at Nowtv about TV it's all got to be done through 'Live Chat', if you've got three hours to spare out of your day to get nothing resolved at all, then go for it

Just a couple of reviews here...

Sorry to rain on your deal, but just making people aware of the cons, although it's a good price for what you're getting

And the link for that? Without proof, its just fake news.

Once I've got connected to the Live chat, it's normally straight forward. It's just the way you get connected I hate.

I'm pleased you had a better experience than me, it is a good deal but I couldn't cope with the Customer Service

Yep
I ordered a six month pass for the entertainment package for box sets etc.
After the first month I was charged the monthly fee of £7.99 and the following month, even though I’d forked out for the six month pass too!
Got no where trying to get my money back and on top of that, the picture quality was garbage from the beginning, not even HD quality, terrible ghosting on the screen too while watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, the app is awful too, would highly recommend avoiding this service.

I've never had any problems and found live chat when looking to cancel really good. Obviously our own experience is all down to us as individual consumers

I bought the annual entertainment for £45 last November, so I’m hoping something similar will be available before my pass ends. I noticed there is a pass on eBay for around £7 for three months, which means you have to pay a small monthly fee to NowTV, which rings the three months to just under £13. I might take that option if nothing new arrives, or if they don’t offer a deal on cancellation.

Nope go onto their website, log in and cancel your pass

You don't need it but I've found if you ask about cancellation through live chat I nearly always get an offer
Tesco clubcard vouchers £19 would fund this I think.
Are Tesco Clubcard vouchers accepted inconjunctuin with any other offers? Anyone successfully applied credit please?

Yup films are mostly at least a decade old. They really do scrape the barrel. Occasional good film and Christmas can be OK but other than that...

Never realised it was voted that bad on trustpilot wow
Voted hot for those this will help, but...I know I will get belittled for this but I simply cannot believe in this day and age of 2160p HDR streaming on the likes of Netflix and Prime, NowTV still only streams in a maximum of 720p, with a visibly low bitrate. I'm sorry, but it just simply doesn't cut it at this point, nearing the end of 2020.

Whether it's a romcom or an action sci-fi, 1080p upwards with a high bitrate enhances the experience in comparisons to what is offered by Now TV.

Fun fact: Virgin Media's 'HD' channels e.g all the Sky Cinema channels and more are actually SD upscaled to HD. Last year when I left them for these kind of lies I finally got them to admit it. Anyone who enjoys watching true HD content such as what Sky offer can tell the difference.

Ive had now tv for a few years, somthing went wrong and it got resolved within a suitable time frame. You could of course pay sky direct for an extortionate amount for the same content and if anything goes wrong be on the phone for hours. Each to their own i guess.

I’ve been with Sky for 20 odd years, my problems stemmed from a free month 7 months ago, long story, but yes, each to their own
What's the quality like? SD or HD, I'm guessing not 4k??

I left 16 months ago , missed the sky plus bit for about 6 months, signed up to nowtv which I rarely use but am tempted for this deal.
Signed up to Netflix which is more than I need and never looked back, if sky Did he package for £10 a month I would give it another go though.aa

Fair comment but I've found if you cancel online when the feedback questions as to why you are leaving pops up just tick it's to expensive they always come back with a cut price deal

Still? I wonder if TV’s upscale NowTV 720. They do tend to have the latest movie releases before the others although was watching Netflix in HDR 4k mode.
Like if you never had Sky package.
