Arghh. So this is just normal price now.

Great deal though.

Does make you wonder what is going on.

Getting kids nickelodeon channels. Maybe selling off the ones with movies and entertainment packs in readiness for a price increase.

Which sainsbury's please?

That was cannock but I think it's all stores

Looks like the retailers know something. Is sky bringing out a new box or something ?

No it uses your wifi via broadband to stream programmes/movies. You'll need a hdmi connection on your TV (it comes with the hdmi cable) That's it hook it up connect too tinternet, stream away!

Ok thnx

Can you just buy a new box every 5 months ? For a good price ?

Same price at Currys too.

Price is probably to do with the fact that Sky are about to charge existing customers for Sky go on the Xbox....

Deal has already been posted - £12.49 @ Currys plus movies for 3 months.

This is a different retailer. There is no stock in any Currys near me. However got one in local Sainsburys. Plus the deal is £12.50 in Currys.

Thanks OP.

This comment gets posted on every Now TV thread!

Can people think before stupid posts or cold votes. This is for the now TV box with either a 3 months movie pass, 4 months entertainment pass of 1 day sports pass. It was £24.99 now down to £12.49, which I believe is the cheapest price anywhere!

This is for the box on its own without any passes, which makes these deals extremely good value!

They've raised the price to £14.99 now. I just managed to order at the £12.99 price shortly before the rise.

OK to stream BUT On my BT package I get only 10gb per month enuff for maybe 5 films per month?? £5 a shot for every extra 5gb .. just sommat to keep in mind, especially if you have little ones.

HD takes 2x of SD as well

Voted hot - just bought two of these boxes

Now just got to sort out the "error code 014" issue with my Virgin Media Box

Probably being sold off as the passes expire in August.

Could you please give me the source of that information.

Many thanks

Hot deal, although I must admit that I've found Now TV the least reliable of the streaming services I've tried (compared to Netflix and Lovefilm). That's streaming through a PS3 though. Are these boxes more reliable, or is the app and service just as patchy?

The box works really well for me. Slightly slower than I'd like in the initial loading of the NowTV app (but not as bad as Demand Five app). Once the app is loaded, not a problem. Streaming wise, however, absolutely top notch. Picture always looks good, never a hiccup on playback.

I do have fibre broadband though so perhaps that makes a difference.

Are you sure? That's a big problem if correct. As far as I know the pass runs from date of activation! Anybody able to confirm this either way?

Thanks. That's what I thought. I wish people would check their facts before posting their own vague assumptions.
