Voted hot I got this and the cashback dont know how they do it at this price. Makes you think how overpriced other providers are.

Great deal got this a few months ago, cashback has paid out
I bought yesterday and the cashback tracked at the correct £90 within 15mins.

I expect they want you in at this price hoping that you'll end up buying some of the TV packs at some point. Same as Sky broadband who I was with before on a great deal. Stupid thing is Sky wouldn't budge for a new deal or pricematch even though Now is basically the same company.
Not fibre. Not everyone will get 18mbps .. the further you are from the exchange the further the drop in performance
Been on this since September, it good for me, Initially got £80.00 cashback from TCB, should have got £100.00, put in a claim an received the rest of £20.00 last month, so not all bad, , heat for effort.

All correct of course. But not everyone needs a fibre connection, and these days I think most people realise how ADSL works. They also give a fairly accurate speed estimate when you sign up. At £10.50 a month it is cheap as chips for Broadband and the bonus of anytime calls.

Will this work for a line that is tied into a bt exchange thingy?

Don't worry, just checked and it's not available in my area.

I’m on ADSL with NOW tv and it’s shocking. Seems my line can hold about 12mbps which would be sufficient but it is so temperamental. Constantly bounces about and can stay as low as 1mbps and also cuts out a fair bit. Makes downloading things very very long. Currently downloading 15gb game and it’s on 20% after an hour.

The price is fantastic but I’m looking for a fibre deal and suggest others do to unless you are on a real budget.

£150 after cash back for a year is extremely cheap. It’s a bit annoying with gaming but Netflix never buffers apart from odd time. Quite rare. It’s just not perfect but then... it’s very cheap!

Did your connection go down when Sky had issues?

Have you tried Troubleshooting with them? I'm currently with Sky (which is the same ISP as NowTV). I'm lucky that my line can hold about 15Mbps. However I did have an issue similar to you at one point. Reported it to them and escalated, was actually a fault that Openreach came and fixed.

I have not tried troubleshooting with them to be fair. Mostly because I want to go to fibre anyways so I haven’t bothered. I suppose it could be a fault. Did it take them long to fix the fault?

I think it did as our hive thingy had stopped working one day during the week. This normally happens when the connections gone. Saying that it's the first time about 3 or 4 years this has happened and it was only for a short period of time. The other thing I liked going to now bb was moving from sky meant I didn't even need to change routers. The switch over was seamless.
Great deal - switched over from Sky in September and the switch was flawless...even continued using the original Sky router rather than the Now TV router that was sent!
ADSL, that brings back some memories... think I had my Sinclair Zx80 at the time!

I think youll find the majority of people do need fibre, but dont quite understand why their internet is slow when they have ADSL, so they complain about the services yet they signed up for it.

Exactly the same issue, £80 payable but should have been £100, ticket submitted.
I don't know who is to blame but my £100 for joining Now tv broadband, was in my TCB account for a few weeks In September, then withdrawn. I've contacted TCB and Now TV several times and each time I'm told to contact the other company. As yet no happy outcome.

I never said the majority of people don't need Fibre. I said not everyone needs Fibre - and for those people this is cheap cheap cheap!
Good luck with this, fastest speed I have ever had is 5mbps normally 2-3.
They tweak it their end and it's ok for a couple of days then back to the normal 2-3 Mbps.
If NOW tv can afford this, why cant other ISPs offer free anytime calls ?

Sky are offering free anytime calls in their Black Friday deals but as they own NowTV that’s not surprising.
My speed with now.

Most people don't need fibre. I have NowTV ADSL and get average download speeds of 16Mbps. I would like fibre but this is fine for now. Netflix and IPTV stream fine.
I'm looking for 63mbps, why on earth do they give LESS cashback for that than their cheapo package? With £70 tcb it works out at £24/month which isn't quite the cheapest at that speed. Will continue to hold out, although props for 12 month contract rather than 18 or 24.

If you go to Quidco they have £90 on the Fibre packages and only £70 on the Broadband. They seem to switch it around, a few days ago the two cash back sites were the opposite.

The 12 month contract is the best thing with Now, makes the cashback all the more effective in bringing down that average monthly price

Probs gonna hold out until actual black friday but this is pretty decent on the list
My current broadband deal runs out on January 4th = is it too soon to order this deal from Now TV?

Also, I currently have Now TV Cinema and Entertainment passes. Don't suppose this will make any difference but I just thought I would mention it

My order from the other day says it goes live first week of December. So if you ordered now you might be subject to early termination charge from your current provider. Just get in touch with them and ask, some waive it in the last month.

Thanks for the reply, bagand96. I'm out and about at the moment so I'll check with Post Office Broadband later. Hopefully the Now TV offer will still be around on the 5th of December (when I enter the last month of my current contract.)

I've just had my new fibre install done and currently getting around 59 - 65 with nowtv. I purchased mine through tcb at £70.00 so still pending. I've found the WiFi on the nowtv hub2 is better on 2.4ghz than on the 5ghz. When testing quite close. Downstairs the speed is still around 60mb which I'm fine with.

Added bonus of the anytime calls is that I can start using the land-line more often now.
Seems to be good deal.Ordered it,.Might cancel if i find something better on Black Friday

£100 cash back today, just took it out for the folks. Very cheap - sky would only offer me £20 per month
100 quid cashback on the superfast and I'd buy it right now
I am interested in this deal, but could anyone who has it confirm whether all calls mobile and landline are included in the free call plan and what the situation is for 0844 and 0870 numbers with now tv?

Thanks in advance for any help.
