The cinema pass is £1 per month for 2 months. The boost is only free for the first month so needs cancelling otherwise it is £5 for the second month. (edited)

Bit of a liberty charging for 1080p though and surround sound anyway isn't it

I got £1 a month for 2 months. The only time I will sign up is when it’s £1 worth it for a couple of months

Not for me but I only removed movies a month or two ago so that's probably why. It's only worth it a few times a year anyway for me what with all the regurgitated stuff on there. Hopefully get a good deal in time for all the Christmas films though

Think I will resist as I had the sky cinema pass until a few weeks back and watched what I wanted. I find a lot of the content is regurgitated and there is a proper lack of exclusives. Good for those who have not subbed recently I guess. Hot BTW.

Can't believe they are still peddling the ridiculous pay and still get adverts model with all the competition the streaming market. Their tactic seems to be to offer a worse service for more money. I cancelled when my £3.99 a month ended and asked why I said it was too expensive at £4.99 and the adverts were very annoying. So their most recent offer to entice me back is...£4.99 a month with annoying adverts!

Why bother charging £10 a month? I literally just take them up on these offers for a quid or two, watch everything i want to, then cancel, and wait for the next offer to pop in my inbox.

I wouldnt pay more as their streaming quality, even with boost is rubbish compared to the competition. With boost it always drops quality through the film/goes blurry where as every other streaming service app (Netflix, Disney, Amazon) all stream perfectly.

I dont think their servers can cope as i notice it is worse during peak times (evenings/weekends).

I don't have those offers, always will be account specific

I got this offer and another for entertainment - which was £4.99 for 6 months

    Shame it’s not entertainment

Most modern films aren't nowadays 😁

Can you get it today, cancel today and still watch for 2 months?

You'd have to cancel in the 2nd month I think, otherwise I'm sure it will end at month 1 (if that makes sense). You're effectively cancelling the service early and then losing the 'offer' as a result. (edited)

Wish I had never gone with them! Billing and technical issues galore and their customer service is 100% abysmal.

    Not fer everyone, fer sure.
I found the offerings hard work to find anything of interest...ter me, BUT still well worth a punt, at THIS price. Personally I'm still working my way through BLUE BLOODS on my free trial of Paramount+. It's good ter have options, eh.

I got this, but I am hoping they will offer a similar deal for their tv subscription
    Rob_Samsung's avatar
They sent me an email about 3 weeks ago saying they had changed mine to £2.99 a month ( I was on £4.99 a month deal). I was going to cancel and see what they would offer but they beat me to it. For that price I will stay but can't say I watch that much anymore on Nowtv. Just the odd thing.

Because there's naff all on Cinema these days. Lucky if one premiere a month. £1 is too much.

Hi, does anyone have a spare code if they are not taking up the offer.

    thanks

Just give us 4k damnit nowTV. you are going to have to eventually.

Had the entertainment package reduced for 6 months around 4 months back and won’t be renewing I haven’t watched it in over a month now, quality terrible and adverts thrown in
  19. PaulBearHull's avatar
BEWARE - The boost is only included free for 1 month so, if you forget to cancel, 2nd month is £6

Can't wait for my Now contract to be up. Money grabbing *****
Rubbish service. Too many adverts. And can only watch 1 thing at a time, even with different subscriptions to sports and TV. It's all a con, which they hide and don't make clear when signing up. Films also tend to be rubbish and repeats.

I keep getting offers for Sky Cinema as well. Their catchline 'Blockbusters are Back' is pushing it somewhat.

Literally nothing I want to watch. Disney and all it's stables seem to be putting everything on it's streaming service which makes it tough of cinemas, and Sky Original productions, films anyway leave a lot to be desired.

    Money saved for me
  22. Davejay81's avatar
I think the fact Now load their movies with ads at the start and indeed have the cheek to charge you extra money to have full HD(?!?) and surround sound.. come on

It's a bad day when the Netflix top end plan is actually cheaper than getting BASIC movies and entertainment from NOW but you get 4K, HDR, surround sound, Dolby Atmos/Vision.. AND you can watch it on more than one device at the same time!

Now is good for sports if you don't want a Sky box

Anyone know if you ever get these offers sent if you have now TV via BT TV? More specifically a colleague BT TV package?

Anyone tell me, l just wanted the cinema and boost for one month, so I just cancelled the cinema bit, do I need to cancel boost as well or would I get charged for boost the second month.
Just didn’t want to lose boost on the first month either,
    if this makes sense. :/

I got this deal and just had an email off them, saying they have extended the offer for 6 months @ £1.99 a month, can cancel at anytime. May as well keep it. Hopefully a few good films will be on around Chrimbo
