Been looking at escaping my TalkTalk fibre contract as they have just announced a price rise. I have 30 days to act. Was looking at Sky Fibre Unlimited (38Mb) as I am a Sky TV customer but that's currently sitting at £36.31p/m (incl. cashback etc) on a 12 month contract.

So...

Along comes this offer in my inbox today for "NOW TV Fab Fibre" which is essentially a rebadged version of Sky Fibre Unlimited and it's coming in at £25.05p/m (incl. TCB @ £89.25) on a 12 month contract. A saving of £11.26p/m AND I get a free Roku box with NOW TV Entertainment Pass that I can do what I want with.

Here's the numbers

Entertainment Pass : £6.99
Fab Fibre : £18.00
Pay as you use calls : £0.00
Line rental : £17.99
Your Combo Offer -£12.99
--------------------------
Total p/m : £29.99
Total p/y : £359.88
--------------------------
One Off : £30.00
--------------------------
Total before C/B : £389.88
--------------------------
--------------------------
TCB : £89.25
Total after C/B : £300.63
Total Layout p/m : £25.05
--------------------------

There is also a non-contract version at £29.99p/m with a £60 upfront cost but I have't a clue if cashback will work on this but if it does it works out at 359.88+60-89.25 (£27.55p/m). Either way contract-less fibre doesn't come much cheaper.

Follow the £29.99 offer three quarters of the way down the linked page on the NOW TV website to view the offer (you need to add your postcode and landline) but make sure you go in via Topcashback to get the most from the deal.

Topcashback seem to have a NOW TV section and also a "NOW TV Combo" section which is where this deal is. I will link to it here but I'm not sure we're allowed to add external links??

There is also options for 17Mb broadband (NOW TV Brilliant Broadband) and also 76Mb fibre (NOW TV Super Fibre) if that is what you want.

cashback also applies if you take the no contract option.
In fact i wasn't aware they did this Now TV deal in a contract - the whole advertising push is that there is no contract. The £65 connection fee is a major negative though , spoiling the deal.

I'm trying escape from that s**ty Talk Talk. I was offered fiber optic (with line rental, no calls included in the plan) for £25

sse £21 per month 76mb fibre unlimited any time calls including line rental 18 months contract any one can beat that

Sorry no TV or cash back option

do an online chat with talk talk say you got one of those letters and are leaving. wait for the 3rd offer I pay £24 for 76 fibre for 18 months

More chance if you are out of contract.

BT Infinity with BT sport is only £28.49 per month over 12 months (go through Quidco link for this price), £59.99 upfront total of £401.87 includes £125 reward card (means it is guaranteed unlike cashback) = £276.87 and it is upto 52Mb rather than 38. Take into account possible £90 Quidco if it pays and it brings that down to £186.87. Also includes free weekend calls.

Really? I like them.

only problem with bt is , when you come to end of contract price gets very expensive and they dont offer anything , ive rang up 5 different times now and nothing different , the best they offer is £50 a month for infinity 1 with anytime calls on 12 mts , or £45 a month on 24 mt contract very poor. , so only good with the new customer offers.

Ended up getting the non-contract version, cash back tracked ok.

BT wasn't option for me as my Fibre tops out at 15Mb and it is classed as "BT Unlimited Faster Broadband" and not Infinity (must be due to Ofcom rules or something). Im too far away from the cabinet to get any faster.

Anyways, this stops me signing up to any of the BT Infinity offers available which is a big pain as there are better deals there to be had. Spent hours trying to trick the website into giving me Fibre but it wont have it. Even though I am using their Fibre service, the fact that it's 15Mb means they can't class it as such forcing me into a £32.99 tariff with no offers.

This looks like the best deal for me as I'm coming to the end of my 12 months with BT. However the wording of the TopCashBack small print says new Now TV customers only. Surely that doesn't mean if you've had an entertainment or cinema package before they'll decline cashback? Or could it?

My 12 months with Sky Fibre is due to end in mid December. Does anyone know if they'll waive the set up fee of £60 considering they're essentially the same company?

Would I need to give notice to Sky or will it take care of itself assuming I find an alternative provider and select a start date on or after the end of my contract with Sky?

SSE(the utility provider) were running a large cashback/cheap broadband promotion a number of months ago - you can't get their product for that price today, so it's a sort of irrelevant comment. SSE use Daisy who have a bad reputation and a lot of the people who joined have had mixed experiences.

I'm actually with NowTV(Sky in reality) now and it's been a good experience - I'm on a rolling 1 month contract, paying £37/month and got £84 cashback(paid).

No issues, customer service based in N.Ireland, fast to respond compared to Plusnet(my previous) - I say try them, you can leave any month if you're unhappy since there's a no contract option.
