NOW TV Full HD Smart Box + 3 Months Entertainment inc FREE Delivery @ Currys (price matched with Argos) - £19.50

Found 5th Jan
I only watch the darts on Sky Sports these days so I've cancelled my subscription and have used Now TV a few times and been impressed. Needed one of these as my conservatory TV isn't SMART.

This is the newer box which has live pause/rewind feature and a Freeview receiver built in.

Note these are £19.99 at Argos but all of my local stores are out of stock. Currys price is £24.99 but they will price match Argos and you get free delivery (you need to call for the price match, details below).

I didn't set the tags, they were generated automatically and I didn't even look at them. Better get your whinging pen out and send a letter of complaint to HUKD. (don't forget to use lots of exclamation marks!!!!!)
Heat and thanks for taking the time to post this, ignore the sad trolls.

Why is it tagged price glitch?
I bought one recently from tesco for use in a bedroom. I didn't realise that these boxes contain a cooling fan which can become quite annoying. Also note that your aerial cable plugs into this for the pause and rewind function which means you have to watch freeview through this continuously with your TV on HDMI.

Way to go with an arsey reply. You do realise that the site auto adds tags that remain unless the user removes them?

What a weird profile description.

Knew someone would trot out the time machine line.

The point of my comment was that this is not necessarily a good price, and that there have been better prices in very recent times.

That allows people to make informed decisions on the 'hotness' of the deal and make their purchasing decision from there.

What box was that, chances are it was the old style (no pause/rewind).

I get your point, however it is slightly moot as this appears to be the cheapest price at this point in time and we don't know when it will be reduced further in the future.

Agree to an extent, but always useful giving people context of other recent deals so they can judge the value for themselves, and decide whether to bite now or wait for the next one.

Never said it was a bad deal, just there was a better one last week. And surely a lots of deals on here are one off, but the great thing about this site is that someone will come along shortly with another great one off deal
With these deals appearing almost as regular as an ed sheeran no.1 is there nobody in the U.K. who does not have a now tv box

Price updated Big thanks to @trucker79 for highlighting this earlier today.
Have now tv upgraded the broadcast to 1080p for customers with this smart box or is it still 720p?
I've binned Sky too and use this now, agree it is a good deal, heat added

Is the fan only in the newer boxes? I have an old one and it’s really quiet.

Yes there is a fan in there that will cut in after about 10 mins. I bought an Apple TV in the end as the fan noise was too annoying in the bedroom. I use TVplayer app for watching live TV and it has the Now TV app.
netflix missing from app installed.

I bought loads of the older boxes two or three years ago and the vouchers are still working with them
For those who love 5.1 or more audio. You can forget it with NowTV. It's rather annoying when you invest into SS, and you don't get it from one of the major players like Sky (They own NOWTV for those that don't know).

Roku express all the way. Try one and you won't turn back. This is coming from someone who has had all the NOW TV products and the free subscriptions that are sold with them. To say the NOW hardware is Roku powered is ridiculous at the speed and restrictions in place and that goes for the software too.
Edited by: "deleted1836930" 19th Jan
I use a Roku too - I just come here for cheap Entertainment passes...
Its 720 not Full HD
marked down on site now no need to call for price match
Do you need a tv license with the NowTv subs? You can’t watch things live can you?
