NOW TV Sky Sports 1 Month Pass - £25 @ Currys Online & @ Argos

I know the £20/month Sky Sports Month Pass (3 month deal = £60) has just expired. But for those who missed out and are still interested in getting Sky Sports ahead of the PL season, you can get a month pass from Currys and/or Argos for £25. This is much cheaper than getting it directly from NOW TV (£34). Hope it helps. Thanks.

NB: There is also a deal for Sky Sports month pass with the NOW TV stick for £30. Available from Argos or NOW TV directly.

Still way way way too expensive they had a deal for £20 a month not long ago and that’s still too expensive!
Why not get a Now TV stick, with the 1 month pass and £5.49 SkyStore voucher and resell the stick? ...
£25 is the new standard price for these 1 month sports passes, PC World, Currys, WH Smiths, Wilkinsons etc all have them at this price.
Couldn,t agree more with Jona77,these sports passes are still stupidly overpriced IMHO,and we are supposed to think this is a deal, well technically they are as its about 34 month normally, but i guess if the sheeple still keep buying them, they will continue,to feed them to us and keep the prices high, making you think your getting such an uber deal lol.Thats why i only buy the occasional sports day pass now and then.the max i would ever pay for a pass would be 15 quid month, until then sky /nowtv can kiss my you know what, heh heh.but thanks to the op for the heads up anyhow.
If you buy multiple of these, can you stack them or use a month at a time? Have joined on the £20pm offer, but with this being £34pm after the 3 months, this would hopefully work out cheaper going forward

Yes, you can buy multiple passes from Argos/Currys but can only use one at a time. Once your pass expires, you can add another. Also, Argos says you must activate your pass within 12 months from purchasing it (it would expire otherwise). You just need to make sure the £34 recurring payments option in your account is off.

Thanks! Yes if you look at it from a value-for-money point of view, £25 is probably not worth it. However, if you really want a Sky Sports month pass, this £25 offer is arguably the best deal at the moment.

Thanks! I just hope these retailers don't revert to the £34 being offered by NOW TV directly.

Yes, maybe not worth it but this is the best deal around ATM. I do hope prices come down going forward.

You can’t stack them you can apply a voucher 1 month from the end of an existing pass. You’ve got to remember to cancel if you don’t carry on with an offer otherwise you get billed the full amount when your current pass expires

Doubt it, the standard prices from retailers have been cheaper than buying direct for years. I've bought numerous sports week passes for £10 and entertainment passes for £15 for 3 months or £25 for 5 months from PC World/Wilko etc over the last three years, when the direct prices from Now TV has been higher on every occasion.

If you want to watch events that are only available on Sky Sport, is there a better option ? These passes are way cheaper than subscribing to a Sky TV package that includes Sky Sports, plus you only need to pay for the months or weeks in my case (for major golf events) that you need.
Buy a sky sports mobile subscription for £5.99 through Google and play to TV from phone not HD but same coverage and cheap cheap

£5.99 subscription doesn't include Sky Sports Cricket, Football, Golf, F1 or main event, but £10.99 option looks interesting.

Does anybody on here do this ?

I voted it cold because I still think it’s overpriced. You might be right that it’s probably the cheapest way to watch sky sports at the moment but in my opinion this doesn’t make it a good deal. I guess -262 degrees a fair few people agree with me!!!!

I voted cold myself because £25 is now the standard price for these 1 month of sports cards, plus i'd only pay that type of money if there was a whole month of sport I really wanted to watch.

Try it you only waste £6. I also use it to watch on phone when out and about so quite useful. I don't think there are any restrictions.

Deffo Agree with this comment. £25 is still too high, i really dont know whats wrong with people at Sky. £15 is still quite dear but would just about get it.
