You can get all the races and qualifying live for £165, if you buy 5 Now TV Sky Sports Month passes for £25 each and 4 £10 week passes from independent retails like Argos, PC World and Wilko. Then start the month passes on the 15th of March (for the first 3 races), 27th April (3 races), 7th June (3 races), 30 August (4 races) and 11th of October (3 races), and use the weekly passes to cover the other 4 races (excluding the GB Grand Prix which is live on C4).

Too much for F1. I wonder just how much this exclusivity will kill off a lot of F1 interest in the UK.
I bought this last year for £150 as it covered the cricket season which I was more interested in (and a fair bit of the football season thrown in). I would have done it again for £150 but a £45 increase is too much. Shame

if it was £10 a month I'd be tempted but closer to £20 a month and mainly for F1 is still too much. Lets face it there's usually a couple of races a month so thats a tenner a race.
Even only a year ago, same deal was £150. Probably better off fishing those 4 months for £20 each deal.

Dont get me wrong, I'd love to have access but not at this price. Especially considering the highlights are free anyway.
VPN and f1tv is your friend, £6.99 a month

I'm posative this same deal last year was £150. How can they justify the extra £45? There is the same amount of races and coverage? Total let down Sky!

I have a lifetime vpn with windscribe, but any will do, obviously this is an additional cost but it doesn’t have to be much and if you get get a lifetime then it works out better than a monthly cost. I’m all Apple so you’d have to do the equivalent for any other device. I used the vpn server in Switzerland, downloaded the f1tv app from the App Store and registered an account in Switzerland, as the vpn is on the pro subscription appears in the app, although paying in gbp once the payment goes through it’s in usd in America, so they can’t tell I’m uk based. Then log on to f1tv (whilst the vpn is on Switzerland) on your web browser, as I haven’t got the app to work and log in, you can then watch from there, or cast it to your tv. I have watched the testing perfectly. This is not illegal, it only breaches terms and conditions, so I’d advise to only pay the monthly sub to f1

£21.66 a month is too high, £20 a month deals are common on here and there were 60% off £12.50 a month deal posted on here last year. The £25 a month Sky Sports Month Passes from independent retails like Wilko, Argos and PC World may even work out cheaper if you are just interested in F1, as you don't need to activate the next month as soon as the previous month of Sky Sports has finished.

They didn't have exclusive coverage of all the races bar the British Grand Prix last year, so they can play the if you are desperate enough to watch the F1 season live you will pay it card ! I'll pass personally, and wait for a better deal.

Last year it was £150 for 10 months.....

I’ll be reactivating my old Sky Sports TV app. I can still get the full Sky Sports package for £4.99 via that, I can’t link it to my TV but I can watch it on my iPad.
charging an extra £45 more than last year is a bloody disgrace, but no surprise to me,i even mentioned it in earlier posts of sports deals on this forum.this is of course the price you are having to pay for now, for exclusive live coverage, minus the british grand prix,or watch highlights later if available.£21.66 a month for a sports fan who only watches F1 is shocking,ok so there are other sports to watch, darts rugby ,cricket, etc, but even with those i personally still dont see the value in this, but thats just me,others may beg to differ, their choice.its not even full hd,perhaps if it was full hd,it might be worth pulling the trigger on this deal.there comes a point where we have to say to ourselves, enough is enough, and just not bother, and i reached that point years ago, apart from the occasional odd decent sports pass deal that comes up.overpricing sport, and offering a discount doesn,t make it a good deal, you are going to see a continued raising of these prices for the forseeable future as long as there are people still keep forking out for it.i love my sport, but i will not be held to ransom for it.demand more bang for your buck, stop settling for inferior quality streams, its 2019,not the 1980,s.i feel so sorry for the f1 fans, and sports fans in general, who love there sport fix,but have to pay through the nose for it,but not for me anymore,i made my choice ages ago,now you have to make yours.Good Luck.

Well said sir
I've been waiting to see what sort of deal they offered after last year they did same for £150. They've bumped up the price because Channel 4 no longer has live coverage of half of the races. I was hoping they would go down on price to try and hook in lots of new customers. I'll wait and see if the price comes down when the season starts, or look for some good day pass prices. As F1 is the only thing I would watch I can't justify nearly £200.

That sums me up. I've been slowly losing interest in it over the last few years. I used to follow it religiously, but this year I'll concentrate on other forms of motorsport.

Portugal is cheaper than Germany at €5.99.

Do you need to use a VPN when using the app or is the VPN only required when logging in?
I had this at £150 last year and took out the Black Friday deal in November for £170. But £200 is too much.
I’m going with BeIN Sport once my pass runs out in a few months

BeIN Sport? How does that work?

You have to use a VPN set for an Arabic country and sign up to BeIN Sport on the website. Then log back to UK on the VPN when setting up a Paypal payment and off you go. There is apparently an app you can set up on an android box to view on the television. It has a lot of matches live on Saturdays as well as rest of week and all the Champions League as well as F1
IM only interested in F1 really between a rock and a hard stone here

Good spot. Germany was cheapest last year I think.

Cyprus is €5.99 too though in honesty pony up the annual fee and save about €20.

That is always the case with any Sky offering. Sky is one of those companies where you really do have to read the small print, before signing up to anything!

This is fake, F1TV pro is not available in Switzerland and you can only pay with a card linked to a address in the same country i.e. if you vpn it from Germany, the card payment and address need to registered in Germany.

Yeah ok, worked for me, I don’t think that they spend that much time at looking at where the payment comes from, as long as it’s not from a restricted area. Also any payment through iTunes will go trough as USD, same with google store I assume. Go troll elsewhere

Massively if golf leaving the BBC is anything to go by, most golf clubs are struggling for members (especially juniors) with some closing down completely. This will obviously have a knock on effect on the pro game in this country over time, which will further erode the TV viewing figures. I suspect it will be the same with F1.

It was nine months last year not ten.

Thought they would up the price after increasing the day and week pass prices last month. I won't be biting at £195 for sure. Will pick up cheap deals throughout the year and McDonalds Monopoly starts again this month so hopefully can grab a few Sports Day Passes via that.

How can you get full Sky Sports package on mobile for £4.99 a month? It's £10.99 a month now including F1, would be more tempted if they had a decent offer on that package for the F1 season instead.

The Sky Sports Mobile Pass has been available for free (via the Sweatcoin app) or a £1 a month direct from Now TV recently, but the racing channel included with that shows horses, not F1. I haven't seen any deals for the full (£10.99) mobile sports pass, it's not even listed on the Now TV website. Maybe they will introduce it to the masses with a deal in time for the start of the F1 season. I'd happily pay £3 a month to watch live F1 on my Smartphone, if a better offer than this doesn't appear.
