Ok. So to be clear i can't just purchase this through my smartphone app and then watch via my Smart TV app?
Bargain - thanks for sharing
Excellent thank you.
I wish their Sky Sports Mobile had F1. Either way, heat added for £1.
Solid offer.
Not saying it's not a deal, but I used this recently and (ignoring the fact that it seems to be focused on premier League, as opposed to the championship for example) I forgot how extremely limited the features are.

Can't even use it on a tablet. I activated a stored now TV month pass early and ditched this because of how bare bones this is compared to the proper now TV service.
Great deal thanks,A pretty decent line up on Sunday for a day of football.....Not the usual “super Sunday” tripe like Watford v Everton....nowt super about that!
50p per game to watch is a great price!!

It does say mobile pass,as in mobile phone...
I just cancelled my 2 month £1 deal as I was in the last month and was offered 3 months @ £1 per month, might be worth trying.
I use it just to keep up with other results at half time when im at a game so much easier to listen then fumble for glasses with gloves on etc
I've subscribed but when I sign into the app it says I dont have a valid subscription
Used now tv app instead and works fine
Put all my details in but it wont let me press pay now for some reason

What bit don't you understand? I don't see why a tablet is off limits. Not being able to cast is one thing, but not being to use it on a tablet (as opposed to a laptop etc) is really lousy.

You’re being condescending and rude when it’s entirely unnecessary.

Lots of tablets have cellular and use mobile sims so it’s not an unreasonable question, assumption or comment.

EDIT: If you visit Sky’s mobile offerings page sky.com/sho…ile they have a choice of phones or tablets.

Bearing in mind Nowtv are a division of Sky it furthers the argument that tablets are considered ‘mobile’ within the company and thus should be included.

And as a result of using this service (I bought a reduced pass on eBay, didn't get a £1 promo price) I decided that the service is an absolute waste to me.

Hence my comments

It’s not a trick it clearly states to be used on a smart phone,If you fail to read the specifics of a deal then you only have yourself to blame if it fails to meet your own expectations.

I was replying to your comments about the wording of ‘mobile pass’, now you’re moving the goal posts with your argument.

I just think more kindness is needed around here sometimes; no one wins any points or gets anywhere with needless arguments or sly comments.

At least we have clarified the poor wording of ‘mobile pass’ and should avoid disappointment of those expecting tablet usage.

Have a nice afternoon.
can i shout "get in" at my tv,whilst clapping the substitutions? #ynwa
Probably a stupid question but can you take this out, cancel straight away and still have the month’s usage?

Is now tv free?
Well, this is embarrassing… We're not sure what happened there.

Thank you - just signed up and immediately cancelled: sent me a couple of ‘are you sure you want to cancel?’ messages, then offered me 3 additional months at £1 a month - so £4 up to 12th April 🏻

As other members have said, my new pass only works on my smartphone. It doesn't work on my tablet. It also doesn't work if I attach my phone to a Chromecast.
Also, it only works for 5 of the 11 sky sports channels:-
Premier League, Action, Arena, Racing & News
You'll need a different type of pass to watch the other channels.

If it's still not working, it also won't run on some older smartphones or rooted android devices or CyanogenMod devices.

Was only ever trying on my iphone, but it was a timing delay issue.. was on the train when i bought it but it 30 mins later and it was working :-)
Is there any trick to get this on a TV screen? Would a micro usb to hdmi lead work?

Trying to watch darts lol

Has anyone tried via Samsung DeX?
I had one of these (£1 a month for 2 months) and when I went to cancel it on Now TV website to avoid paying full price, it offered me £1 a month again for 3 months.

Thought I’d share.
I've not done this in a while but wouldn't using a USB C to HDMI cable work for viewing on your TV?
