So can you stream this from your computer to a smart tv ?....does this include all other Sky tv programmes(Sky Atlantic etc) in with the £15 a month or just purely movies?

£15 just for sky movies seems a bit excessive, especially since Netflix and Lovefilm Instant are £10 cheaper.

However voted hot for the 30 day trial

Slightly mis-leading comment for those who don't understand Smart TV. If you're streaming to a computer you only need a TV with a PC input to watch it surely.
A Smart TV would only be required if there was an App for Now TV or a way of streaming directly to the TV. I.e. no computer required.

Many non-smart TV's also have DLNA for sharing Media, basically Smart Tv for me = naff facebook/twitter apps = complete waste of money.

30 day trial is good but after that this is way too expensive-unless the movies are very new releases?

Love film free with taltalk broadband and phone package for about £25.

This is Sky Movies only at the moment. Sky Sports and Sky TV (Such as Sky One, Atlantic etc... coming soon)

The higher cost is because Sky offer nearly new release films long before Lovefilm or Netflix.

Voted Hot for this, however I'm waiting until they add Sky Sports.I'll use the free trial then to test it out and then only use the PAYG after that anyway to watch the football every now and again.

Sky Movies has films long before Netflix and Lovefilm who both have very poor libraries.

If only they did something like this for sport. I would happily pay a small fee to be able to watch the F1 in HD online. I have no interest in the other sky programs but a small fee for that would be worth it.

Does it do HD though? cba with standard def. 2012 and I want good quality streaming! haha

£6 vs £15 - very competitive !!

I guess they are just repackaging SkyGo and sugarcoating it.

Thx OP.
I must remember to cancel after I've caught up with all the films I've not seen before

Is there a link for the free trial?

Or will it be Live only tomorrow?

Not exactly free as you will be signing up to £15 p/month automatically if you don't cancel before the 30 day trial ends... Probably just a load of hassle for nothing

You'd be correct IF you had to sign up to a 12+ month contract to get the 30 day free trial. Since there is no obligation to sign a contract, it IS free.

but is the hassle of trying to cancel something with sky really worth it?

No HD when it's first rolled out, they say they're planning to add it in future.

Live now. Anyone signed up? Does it look any good?

NOT ON PS3?

just had a look through on the movie pass films and 60% of the films are on netflix (usa) there is a choice of about 100 films so not worth the extra £10 after the free month in my opinion.

It's only just been rolled out so I doubt it's going to have a very large selection, you'd be best waiting for a few months until it gathers more content.

probably best to wait a few months before using the freebie then.

I've been using it for the past month as I work for sky and personally I think it's pretty expensive fit what you get. I've already got the full sky package and with now tv you basically get movies that are available on sky movies. I still prefer Netflix though.

Incorrect - you are actually signing up to a rolling 30 day contract UNLESS you cancel

No ICS Support at launch and doesnt work with galaxy S2, S3 or HTC One. What a joke You need to have a Desire or Galaxy S to use it on Android at the moment. Sky said ICS was coming in weeks, but knowing Sky could be months. Sky Go still doesnt work with ICS.

It wont gather more content, they will be shuffled each month like the movie channels ;/

Am I missing a code or something it keeps taking me to a pay £15 screen.

You can cancel auto renew in account management straight away. So no hassle later.

Was watching Paranormal Activity 2 on the on-demand pass last night and it cut out half way through. Went to go back into it and they'd removed it from their library! Terrible.

Contacted customer support and was told they'd pass my comments on to the relevant people and sorry but they change their catalogue frequently. Unbelievable, especially since I was already watching the movie!

haha they deleted the movie half way through you watching it!!! what a joke, i could understand if the deleted the link so no one else could start watching it but just hitting the delete button seems overkill

How do you actually cancel?

If you spent a bit of time looking around the net you would find ALL new films b4 Skyusually within the first week of release, and not the dodgy chinese copies you have been buying., Every live sport you could wish for all free with no subs, just need to look.
I am not advocating piracy or downloading but streaming is still legal and free

streaming is still legal and free
