I will go to my local one later. I'll check there and report if it is the same price. Fingers cross it is
£50 in Warrington, however I bought 1 last month in Tesco for £18.50. Bargain
£50 in my local store.
voted hot but not buying until GoT is back on
Not at Hatch Warren, must be town centre store.
Be selling off 3rd Gen boxes now to make way for the Stick
watch out for the pass codes, found two cards with no expiry dates that expired in dec
Any with free sky sports?
I got one in December. It's much noisier than the more basic boxes, I often have to unplug it. Wish I hadn't of bothered getting it
£50 in Leamington Spa
Nice smart box but after 10 minutes of use the internal fan kicks in and is a bit destracting. A silent fan would have been nicer.

Now TV will reissue the codes if you contact them. I found it the other way recently that I got them to check the expiry on some code, then I went over that date and they still worked.

They usually ask for the serial number of the now TV box you bought them with when you do that.

You may have got a faulty one, mine doesn’t make a noise at all.

May wish to take it back under warranty?
Wish they would let us use the usb and micro sd card inputs as intended! Bought both standard and smart boxes, but a bit pointless if you can't even attach usb stick, external hdd, or sd card to them for watching your own media.
Shame on you NOWtv!!
Anyone know of a way of getting getting round this??

I agree with this. I've had mine over a year and cannot hear it.

I do think the EPG is a pain on these and unless you need the tv channels i would stick with the cheaper box. To clarify...channels on the EPG have no numbers so you cannot quick select and you have to scroll. All HD channels are at the bottom of the channel list so you have to scroll all way down. No facility to reorder or set a favourites channel list...arrggghhh! If anyone can show me I'm wrong I'd gladly accept being called a thicko to have these issues resolved. Good deal nevertheless.

No issues with mine, might be faulty unit
So no tech heads have any idea of how to enable the ports on these boxes? Surely somebody must have an idea. I know there's some talk about putting the Roku media player software on the boxes. But is there another way. Just seems a real shame they're going to waste...

I guess it's worth a shot. I don't know if Asda will swap it over or make me contact Now TV as I've used the 3 month free entertainment pass.

Yes 100% agreed. The free view is so frustrating that you can scroll up and down only. And with HD all at the bottom! So annoying
There are £19.50 in my local Tesco’s
If scrolling in the EPG use the fast forward button to quickly skip the channels.
