So after buying the 12mth entertainment and movie pass I needed a kids pass deal too, but not sure if they'll do one this year so I bought another stick instead. I'll sell or gift the stick and keep the pass.

It's obviously not a huge saving verses the 5 x £3.99 monthly cost and not as good as the movie/entertainment or sport bundles they do but I thought I'd still post it for anyone looking for kids passes and an extra stick too.

My local doesn't stock a huge amount of these so ordered via c&c for free.

Post in!!!

Obvs not for grade a but even a few quid for C beats them clogging up a drawer.

Worth keeping one as a spare mind. They do have a tendency to get a bit hot and pack in.

it's Christmas time you would have thought, that they would have thought about the kids.
Great thank you

Perhaps they did think about the kid's, and about their wallets too?.

And their wallets won.

Christmas isn't till the end of the Month anyway, so perhaps more will be realised later then, or something?.

(There's still enough left of this Year left to make it count, etc, so who knows ... )
Any opinions on this one compared to the Amazon fire stick? Not sure there's really any difference except the pass with this? Thanks

You can't get NowTV - or any Sky app on a Firestick. Probably due to them using Roku for everything!

All depends what you're looking for.

No worries. Wouldn't want you to spend money on one and not be able to do what you want with it.

If you use a Roku branded stick then you can cross over between Now and Amazon with both apps available.

Heat added, you can also get 4 month kids passes (gift cards in stores) for £10, so only one month less for £5 less, for anyone that doesn't want a stick

Nope. They start to launch, then screen goes blank. Occasionally a warning about low power from the usb source first but go eventually.

So it must be easy enough to get them replaced
They want to charge me £3 for click and collect? Any way around It?
great thanks
Hi folks

Can anyone confirm whether these come with a separate "paper" voucher for the passes, or if they are "locked" to the actual unique physical address of the device.

I'm buying two for family, to add to their annual cinema & entertainment pass present, but not sure if you still get the physical voucher codes?

Cheers

Didn't realise that, thanks.

So GAME, and where else - is it a special deal (bf?) as I thought they were £4 per month on standard price ?

You can get them from GAME and places like Asda, Sainsbury's, some WHSmith stores, basically almost anywhere that sells Now TV cards. The £4, or £3.99 per month price is what you pay when going through the Now TV website without any offers

No separate voucher. You have to link up the stick and sign in to the account you want to apply the pass to. You can do a factory reset if not keeping the stick.

Ah OK. They'll be keeping both, but may get a third one for mum, in which case I'd set the stick up, add my nieces new account, to add the pass, then factory reset and give that to mum, and she would have it without the pass, and the extra kids pass months would be added to my nieces nowtv account?

Yep. That's exactly what I did. The pass will definitely be added to the first account you use to set up the stick with. I just wish they'd kept the passes seperate.
Picked it up last night.
Thank you OP picked one up tonight for the little one.
Thanks picked one up. Would there be any benefit to using the stick instead of my old Now TV box model 4201 or are the essentially the same?

The stick remote has voice search and TV volume control. I'm pretty sure they do the same thing other than that though

It does get hot, but I've been using mine that I got for a Black Friday deal last year to watch I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here live on the ITV Hub as live TV isn't supported on Chromecast for some reason. I've not had any issues with the stick, just it gets hot 🔥
