The stick is 1080p, the box is 4K. It makes no difference if you want to watch Now TV however, it is broadcast in 720p or 1080p, if you pay £3 a month extra. Other apps like Netflix (with the Premium Plan) can take advantage of the boxes 4K capability however.

Lol sorry ! I use the Netflix app on my tv so the 4K won’t be much benefit to me but I like the voice search idea and extra pass !

both the stick and box have voice search. It comes down to whether you think 4K compatability and the kids pass (which is £3.99 a month normally) is worth extra £5.

The smart box is also a bit faster than the stick, has a ethernet port, and better wi-fi reception.
Do you need wifi for the stick
Are u 4 real

All the black Now TV smart boxes have an ethernet port, so if you use this facility you don't need wi-fi.

that's true but you still need broadband which is what I assume the OP is referring to.
I recently cancelled my 7 day free trial on entertainment pass, I click on can't afford it and it offered me 3 months for £1.80 per month. It was an old account I hadn't used for ages. I only logged back on to watch curb your enthusiasm.
Thanks.
Thanks for posting. We have added your thread to the Highlights pages
What sort of speed would I need to run Now tv. I get about 4.8 mbs on copper. I would like to cancel Sky sports and pick and choose which sports I want using Now Tv
always seems to be good deals on Now.
If anyone knows a way to put Now TV app on a Andriod TV using Downloader or ES file Explorer please let me know , Ithink its impossible, if it is will buy one of these sticks.

Offically 2.5Mbps, reality 11. Try downloading a trial and see how it runs, there are numerous devises you can use to test it.

Bought one today - great deal. But is anyone else finding they can't run the iplayer app on the smart stick? Everything else works perfectly.
Only workaround I can find is to go directly to a show via the home screen then from there, navigate to the iplayer home.
Going in directly via the app returns an error message.
Tried deleting/reinstalling the app, rebooting the device etc - no joy.

This might be what you call rebooting, but you can reset the stick to it's factory settings.
