It's not quite like that now as the passes are stored on the stick itself with no code in the box.

You therefore have to plug the stick in download the latest software register it and then sign on to your account. It will then add the pass to your account. You can then remove the stick as you wont need it to view of you use a console or existing stick. You can do this with multiple sticks so you can stack the passes and activate them at a later date.

You can then factory reset the stick so it's not linked to your account if you want to flog it.

Its a faff but will save you a few quid.

Showing £29.99 for me :/
Considering 1 Month pass alone is £25 to £34 elsewhere, this is a bargain price. Hot.
Good deal, bought & thanks
Doesn’t work for me unfortunately
Do these ones come with skystore credit!
Thanks heated
Bought a couple yesterday from Curry's at £25 so this will help even out the price! Thanks OP.
Amazing price. Auto renews at £33.99.

It does but if you opt to cancel you are likely to get a better deal. I was offered £16.99 for one month or £20 a month for three months.
Thanks op got one

Don't need the sports month until 30th Aug, can I delay the start?

Yes, but please note you cannot apply or use any other Sports pass (day or week), once this is applied to your account. So if you'll use those before this, only apply this to your account on the day you plan to use/start it. It's usually valid for a year from purchase date.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd most likely only use it for the odd Villa match. So a cheap day pass would suit be best.

Glad we kept Grealish. UTV.
It's cheaper than going down the local for just one game - can a flashed stick be loaded with freeview ?
This should get me to black friday as last years deal was only 9 months or something
Does the sports pack includes ICC World Cup cricket

I feel more confident than I have for a long time. Great signings, great manager and from what I can see, a great ownership.
Can anyone confirm the expiration date on these? If it runs out less than a month from the start of the new football season, it won't be of use to me

Villa fan as manager and captain and the way we did it last season, what a journey it was!
Good deal, I've reserved three of them (won't let me buy more in one go). I can eBay off the passless sticks later for about £10 each, making the sport £10pm or so for just the time I need it.

Amazing last game at Wembley and funnily enough, I watched it with a Now TV day pass.
Is it possible to buy multiples and stack? Would save me renewing with virgin!
Thanks OP heat added

Yes. The pass only appears in your account when you power the stick up & log in on it - therefore you can just hold off using any of the sticks & the passes will be waiting for you once you log in using them. I've ordered three, thanks OP!

EDIT: Maybe I should be clearer, don't stack them in your account, just use them as & when you want to start the pass or you want one of the passes available in your account.

Good luck from a very disappointed Leeds fan
Any 1 year offers?
Picked one up earlier, disappointed no skystore voucher in the box.

Great deal and I have purchased one but just wondered if any one can clarify this for me. I have a need to use one of these sticks now on another TV in the house but my current Sky Sports sub runs out 28th August as I too brought that 9 month deal last year. If I activate one of these sticks now and log in with my account will it add that month onto my existing sub so it then runs through to 28th Sept or will it loose that month that comes with the stick?

Good question. Rule of thumb has been that you need to wait until you're in the final month of your current offer before registering a new voucher - I would hope it would ask you what you want to do when you log in on your new device though.
I bought one yesterday. I had a £10 voucher as well so got it for £9.99. Bargain!
