I got one of these on Friday but the display price was £50. Just saying in case someone go's into a store. It rang up as £29.99.
Heat from me for anyone who doesn't know.

Are you blind?

Tried NowTV for the first time to watch F1 at the weekend.

Crappy 25FPS with no pausing of live streamed sport. Audio constantly out of sync too ... not a great experience.

I've never had a problem with nowtv. Always works well. The channel selection and on demand choice isn't the best though.

Seen this few days ago on the website was going to post but I expect better upcoming deals Black Friday

For some reason movies was £25 and entertainment £30 was looking myself would have bought entertainment of £25

Freeview implementation on this box is not perfect - no EPG guide (only now/next), pause but no record, and channels have a habit of disappearing needing retunes. Channel change is also pretty slow.

Movies are for two month and entertainment is three.

Yes good point before recent price rise ent to £8 a month they would sell these 2 boxes same price

I picked one of these up on Saturday, it also had the £5.49 'Rent a movie on us' voucher in the box.
I also had a free one day pass for Sky Sport which was posted on here (I think) a few months back. I used this on Sunday for the F1 race, with no problems watching it.

If you are using a web browser that might be the issue as I had to stop using that due to audio sync issues.
So I installed the app for Windows 8.1 and audio has been fine.
It's not a good app by any means but good enough.

Thanks for your input, I've been considering now tv with the sky sports passes for the F1 so relevant to my situation

waiting for the big dumping of standard boxes with passes that is coming very soon prediction ( fingers crossed) £9.99 for box with 3 months ent included got the 3m ent pass and box for £14 18mnts ago before the smart boxes even came out, so not a stretch

If your using a Smart Box like the one posted here you should be able to pause and rewind live Sky broadcasts including sports for up to 30 minutes, you can't do this with the normal Now TV boxes. You cant record the full programme but these boxes must have some kind of memory that buffers the programme so you can pause and rewind. Handy if the phone rings or someone arrives at your door, etc.

You cannot watch NOW TV content on Amazon Fire devices.

Thank you, old tv does not have the HD channels so worth it for me.

Hope you like pressing buttons - the HD channels are on 101+ and you can't type the channel number in and there is no EPG guide, so you have to press and press and press the up arrow to get to them from channel 1.

Better off buying a Freeview HD receiver like the Manhattan T1 from Argos at £35, unless you want the other services IMO.

it says it all when the pirated streams are more better than the streams from nowtv

Unfortunately not (but it used to be possible before NOW TV removed the ability to sideload apps)

True, there are better boxes out there. The Humax Fox HDR is still one of the best. But for the price, this is not bad.

It would really be nice if Now TV could invest a bit of effort into the software, since the hardware seem to be very decent.

Are these still locked? No Plex or other sideloaded apps?
