Same in asda and Sainsbury's

But this is offering clubcard points and Asda/Sainsburys don't have Clubcard?
Thanks OP. Ordered one. You get 320 points which is worth 3x, e.g £9.60 redspottedhanky vouchers.
I think, you probably get Sky Store £5.49 voucher as well. May be anyone who has purchased before might confirm?

I literally just bought a Now Tv smart box for my mum in law for £50 - anyone mind please explaining what the difference is between the smart box and smart stick? I’m with sky and don’t have a clue about now Tv xx
Haven't they removed game of thrones from the service?

Smart box has a freeview TV tuner in it and has live pause and rewind feature.
Those smart boxes are regularly half price so you probably could have got a better deal.

Doesn’t have freeview
How do these compare to the old black boxes in terms of speed & picture quality? Like the idea of no wires but concerned shrinkage may have impacted performance
It’s been a while since we had nowtv. Have they added surround sound yet?

I think, Now TV Stick also has "Pause, Record & Rewind Live TV" feature. So Smart Box is only useful if you want Freeview.
Just bought a stick from Tesco because of this thread and yep you get 300 bonus clubcard points and a £5.49 sky store voucher which u can add to existing sky store credit or rent a film, worth doing as £8.49 back really off the £20 stick
Does anyone know if the wifi reception range/quality is any different depending on stick, box or smart box or do they all have the same type of wifi receiver chip in them?

A very small number of deals are going from x2 to x3 on 11th June, a much larger number are going from x4 to x3 so double check before you wait.
When you've finished your 2 months subscription can you jailbreak it and load Kodi onto it?

Sky were talking about upgrading the streaming service to 1080p but the "old" black boxes and the "new" sticks have the same inners in this regard so both are set to handle this. The benefit of the new sticks is being able to hide it behind the TV rather than having the old box alongside it.

Apart from the aesthetics the big difference is a voice control button and the other bonus is that you also able to pause TV for so many minutes.

All looks very good but just be aware though that the sticks are not wire free! You have to plug them into the mains (power adaptor supplied) or else connect them to a powered USB (which is powerful enough to drive it) again with a lead. Not all TVs have these and if your TV is wall mounted that isn't helpful.

I think that's the standard with any Stick (Amazon Fire, Chromecast etc), all needs power adapter or powered USB

Entertainment is OOS, but Movies and Kids packages are still available and they are still good deal.

Use a USB port, most are 0.5A and the specs are 0.35w so it’ll probably run ok on that. If you have a 1A then use that. I haven’t had a TV without a USB port.
Can you watch twitch on these, I k ow you can YouTube but I do enjoy twitch lol
Use natural !
Entertainment back in stock
Offer ends tomorrow.

With Tesco direct closing in July, last chance to collect bonus points.
