“The Onkyo’s superb timing and strong dynamic expression result

in an amplifier that makes listening to music fun. That’s a rare quality

at any price.”
What Hi-Fi Award Winner 2017

Sound quality over bells and whistles
The

Onkyo A-9010 puts sound quality above features. This means that while

you won't find digital inputs and multiple outputs you do get decent

quality components fitted. The UK tuned circuitry uses Onkyo's famous

WRAT (Wide Range Amplifier Technology) for a precise and dynamic sound.

Discrete amplification, using quality components, also ensures low

distortion and unrestrained power.

Ready for your record deck
With

sales of vinyl on a roll, the Onkyo A9010 hasn't forgotten about your

turntable. The built-in MM phono stage is compatible with the majority

of turntable cartridges and compliments the sound of the rest of the amp

- rich and smooth yet also detailed.

Quality headphone output
By

using a dedicated headphone amplifier, the Onkyo delivers; even when

your speakers are mute. With substantially more power than a typical

portable player, the A9010 gets the best from your headphones - making

them sound punchier and more revealing.

Solid construction for a better sound
The

Onkyo's rigid chassis and casing not only looks good but also isolates

the audio signal from vibrations. Gold-plated speaker terminals accept

chunky cable and are internally connected via thick speaker plates

rather than speaker relays, for reduced resistance.

System remote
The

comprehensive yet logically laid out remote supplied with the A9010

operates a complete Onkyo Hi-Fi system. Navigating between amp, CD and

tuner is easy with this intuitive handset.

For an amp that truly connects with the music, the Onkyo A-9010 is a passionate performer.

I like their yoghurt but wouldn't you be better off with a Sony?

Hmmm yummy
Paid this for a budget amp 20 years ago. Hot.
whats a cheap but good speaker set to go with this please ?
Never heard of onkyo ?!

They've been around for years and do some high end expensive stuff. ..especially home cinema receivers which always get good reviews

I'm sure this amp is great, but it will depreciate immediately after buying. Better off buying a vintage Onkyo amp for this money if you can live without surround sound, digital inputs and a remote. Just my 2c

Oh dear. You walked into that one. Its a very old and now very boring "joke" on these forum. Everytime there is an Onkyo deal someone will say never heard of them better off with Sony. Then someone comes along and does the Yoghurt statement. Everytime without fail.
Yeah fair one....newbie round here..

Must be some lead in the air playing my sarcasm radar up
