Not bad.
Scored an A on Fakespot analyzer.
Possibly fine as a power bank but a solar panel of that size is a waste of time/scam.
Don't buy this for the solar charging feature, it'll be useless.
It takes 10+ hours to charge this over USB, and the product description admits solar charging will be far less efficient.
If the solar charging time was remotely viable, it'd be stated in the description. It'd also be a major technological breakthrough.

It's aesthetic more than anything. Look at the size of a real 10 or 14W solar panel in comparison to this and make your judgements based on that.

I know what you mean and Amazon have much better looking chargers with higher capacity but also an ugly aukey/anker with supposedly 23% efficiency - clearly nonsense (hence wont post a link) but does bring home that there is a huge range. One way of cutting through that is to look at how low long it will tae to fully charge a device but there are so many weather arguments, we are in the UK. Another more scientific way would be to look at efficiency or wattage output of the solar panels and compare it against what is known.

Photovoltaic cells are generally only 25% efficient at the very best but a 14W unit can output 14W of power (so 2.8A at 5V) with perfect conditions, so very unlikely.

The cell on top of this power bank has a much smaller surface area so it will be nearly useless if it even works at all.
This seems to be the exact same product, at about half the price
