No probs, I was actually looking for an air purifier and stumbled across this
I was going to spend £30-40 on a Hepa purifier but for a fiver, you can buy an extra one just for the filter
Most parenting sites advise to buy and air filter like this (preferably hepa) for newborns

just ordered/reserved one at jl, many thanks op

how often do you need to change the filter?

Original Poster

Its says every 6 months but it obviously depends on usage

jesus, dont believe the op bought six, getting sick of people doing this. good deal though.

Why? Maybe she lives in a HOUSE with MULTIPLE ROOMS. So buying six is pretty understandable.

lol, seeing as though its free to collect from store if I buy 5, 1 extra doesn't really seems too much
"sick of people making the most of a deal" - i'm afraid that's what people will do on a site like this

yet folk can die from smoke inhalation in a fire when it has the whole atmosphere to disperse into.

Just think if anyone was daft enough to by smoke or carbon monoxide alarms eh?

open a window!

cheap - but do not expect much filtration

good filters are normally £ 250 + , also POLARISING filters are best for home, quiet and very effective

I managed to find some £ 300 ESSA filters online a few weeks ago for £ 90 ( new ) all sold out now, but maybe worth looking from time to time , these are allergy foundation approved and are very quiet but WORK, after 24hrs of use the room air smells much fresher, also in winter you dont want to open windows etc, so a good time to have filtration

I got one of these a few weeks ago, its basically just a computer fan on the bottom, wouldnt expect it to do much

Really? And who's paying them to say that? Just like with antibacterial surfaces and hand washes everywhere, if you don't let your children's immune systems develop they will get other problems like asthma.

out of stock....

It's a good price, but as has been said, your body needs to have 'dirt' to build up/maintain the immune system.

If we all lived in a bubble, we'd be ill the second we stepped out of it.
