This is the new (HVR200-A2) version of the excellent Henry vacuum cleaner, which gets fantastic reviews (as did the previous version which was discontinued when the rules on maximum vacuum cleaner wattage changed a few months ago).

It's a bagged cleaner, but the bags are extremely high capacity and cheap too (around £5 for 10).

The price at Viking Direct is £97.79 including free delivery, but TopCashback.co.uk are offering 8.92% cashback so if that tracks for you it makes the effective price £89.07.

Sadly from all accounts not as powerful as the old version, while the new motor is more efficient its not 2x as efficient. Great little throw about abusable vacuum though but not very effective for carpet even with an optional turbo brush.

It was a sad day indeed when the old one was discontinued, as from experience (6 different vacuum cleaners) it couldn't be beaten.

It's not listed as available on Tesco Direct. Do you mean in store?

I agree
Not sure if the model of Hetty I got Is new or old but it is invincible, even poured a whole cup of coffee in the motor about two years ago and its still going strong . Great hoovers

Sad to hear that the lower Wattage reduces the suction power

The commercial version is 780w, 200w more than the home version. Not sure why though

That might actually be less powerful than the 620W motor. It's hard to know though as many of the existing Numatic models seem to be moving over to the 620W motor and not a lot of info on the older models now.
