Nice price for the PET200 vacuum

Bigger capacity then the normal henry, 9L over 6L - Also free delivery.

Also via Currys eBay if you collect Nectar points etc

Henry Pet is perfect for pet owners. His HairoBrush easily picks-up stubborn pet hairs, and his charcoal activated MicroFresh filter reduces pet odours. With a super long-reach 10m cable, huge 9L capacity and versatile tool set, Henry Pet will become (almost) as important a part of the family as the pets he's cleaning up after.

HairoBrush easily picks-up stubborn pet hairs from carpets and stairs, using Henry's powerful airflow to operate the turbo brush, actively lifting hairs from the carpet fibres.

Charcoal activated MicroFresh filter tackles lingering pet odours, meaning what goes in, stays in.

Henry's innovative self-seal tab locks all the dust in the bag, meaning emptying with no dust and no mess.

With more than 11 million made and most still in use today, it's no wonder Henry is independently rated the UK's most reliable vacuum brand.

Hulk Henry. You won't like him when he's angry.
Looking forward to Henrys returning to more powerful models, eco friendly models are great but when you spend twice as long using them (@50% power) you're not saving any power and wasting time to boot!

You could have a look at his big brothers, Charles and George, wet and dry vacuums are not restricted by EU regulations.

You can still buy 3,000 watt wet and dry vacuums.

But bare in mind the bypass motors they use are less efficient than a standard vacuum motor, so you should look for one with a good increase in wattage and try to find out the airwatts if you can. The better vacs before the motor power restrictions were 300 - 400 airwatts+

Anyone know if it's possible to buy the brush separately to use with a regular Henry?

I personally would not recommend a george - I have one and they are just to noisy for use in the house!

That is a very good point, all the wet and dry vacuums I've used have been very noisy, some, I would want to wear ear defenders with if using for cleaning a house!

Also the wands and tools supplied with them are normally low end plastic ones, and really not up to the job for use on carpet, so would need to adapt it to use better quality ones, or buy some that will fit the existing nozzle.

How dirty are your carpets?
I sold my Henry and bought a James instead. He sucks just as well but he's much lighter.

I read reviews on the web saying the pet version is a waste of money.

We have a pre eu regs Henry, and I just hope it keeps on going. I would hate to have to buy a new reg vac and lose the performance, such a pointless standard. As if everybody in the world has their vacs all turned on at the same time. Meanwhile people are charging electric cars being supplied from a power station.

I'm trade buddy, once upon a time Henrys were great shop vacs, now they are pale imitation. I personally own/use 3 dysons but would happily replace them all with og Henrys for home and work.

I believe replacement motors are still available, so if he pops his clogs, you ought to be able to bring him back from the dead.

However, if anyone has the bright idea of buying the new Henry and fitting a replacement high wattage motor, I think I read that the newer Henrys use a single stage motor (only one immpeller), which would therefore be shorter in height, so there wouldn't be room in the case.
Henry is weak
I've got one of these and I find it to be unwieldy and useless when it comes to suction power. Went back to a 15 year old Dyson. Wouldn't recommend it at all.
Henry has been neutered by the EU.
Why’s the difference between this and one in Argos for £99?

argos.co.uk/pro…071
I have an old one and a new one. I find both of them to be strong. Wouldn't say the 620 is much different tbh. Don't think the new ones will last as long though. No vacuum is as reliable as an old Henry, will last for 20+ years

Better carpet brush and has an activated charcoal filter. More suited for hairs and smells from pets

Better off with the Miele c2 cat &dog was only £10 more on here the other day and they last !! Had mine 5 years had the non pet before that and it lasted 11 years only got rid because the flap that covers the onboard tools snapped off , vacuum cleaner still worked though plus adjustable suction power too
Henry had a nice trip in Amsterdam by the looks of it?
Smoke, pancake and a broker.
