Number plates £30 (incl fitting) @ BMW Cooper York

Found 4th May 2016
Just visited my local BMW in York and they fitted my new number plates for £30 inc VAT. All while I sat in their lounge and made use of their free coffee!

Just a heads up since Halfords charge £35.98 for the pair plus £10.98 to fit including the screws & caps totalling £46.96 which is obscene quite frankly.
Never would've thought to visit BMW but they do the job better and cheaper! I'd like to think that most BMW garages will be at this price but it's worth checking

Just go to your local small garage. You'll be surprised how many have the machines to make them - my local charged me £18 the pair when I needed them.
Did your plate had 'BMW Cooper York' in small letter?
About £10 on ebay delivered.
around a tenner on eBay, £30 is a rip off

All you got was a FREE coffee for their FREE advertising ? ...LOL
£30?! I had to sit down.

£8 at my local car repair store.
They always tell you when they drive a BMW...
Ridiculous price for number plates.
Begs the question why you needed the plates in the first place? Mind you £30 well spent if you can go around doing driveaways from petrol station forecourts with a full tank each time!
can't beloved how expensive these are, also shocked that you can get them off eBay seeing as you're supposed to prove ownership of your car
As a, what you may consider, a stereotypical BMW owner, i cannot wait to take advantage of this offer and get my new shiny registration plate (KN08END) at a lovely price! Cheers! Oh, and whilst I'm here, does anybody know of any mechanic deals? supposedly i need to get my indicators fixed? They seeemingly don't seem to work. Well so others say! Those average car owners! They are funny! And angry all the time. Playa hatas! Pah!
really?

let me guess, you're an apple devotee...

Rubbish..by law the plates have to have the name and postcode of the supplier on them. So if you got them from any other garage/halfords/etc they'd still have the 'free advertising' on them. 'LOL'

Assuming they replaced existing number plates I'll wager they used the old screws....

'did the job better'

Care to elaborate? In what way was the number plates, held in with 2 screws each, into existing holes, fitted by BMW 'better' than anywhere else..?
BMW drivers have to replace their number plates quite often as the front ones get damaged when they drive up your **** when you are in their fast lane.

I liked what you did there
I can fit it for FREE
Sounds like these must have been "gaming" number plates. Just like "gaming" in computers get you pretty much the same product (just with gaming in the name) at several times the normal price.
£7 each delivered on eBay without even a document check
Beggers belief that the OP actually thought this was a deal. I've had some cold deals on here in my time. but at least i checked it was the best option out there before posting.
Not only is this over-priced but, being a York car dealership, they'd have been bloody rude and miserable to you whilst taking your £30 off you.
Chiefbro - I bet you feel a right BE11 END posting this now
Amazing deal. Now I can drive my BMW to buy some £40 HDMI cables.
is this a deal oO
Expensive - they are £12 for the pair at my local Ford dealer
well known auction site 10.99.....road legal and MOT compliant.
