One Nuneaton pub is helping locals start their weekend right this Saturday by encouraging families to get together and enjoy a full English breakfast - and it’s all free!

On Saturday 21 April, Farmhouse Inns pub restaurant the Middlemarch Farm on St Davids Way, is offering free breakfasts to people who visit the pub between 8am and 10.30am and say the code word, “Wakey Wakey” when ordering.

Ten free breakfasts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to those who use the code word, ‘Wakey Wakey’, between 8am and 10.30am. Full terms and conditions can be found on the Farmhouse Inns Facebook page.

The whole Bedrock will come tomorrow.
No doubt the foodbank regulars will be queueing up so they can spend more of their money on booze and fags
Sometimes this site makes me poor but I am not queuing or fighting for a free breakfast.
Ten free breakfasts !! so why say between 8 and 10:30 lmao. they will be gone by 8:45 tops. poor promotion to be honest. perhaps the management need to wakey wakey hoping this will draw in lots of punters.

To be fair mate, i know people working full time who have had to rely on them on occasion during hard times. Not just dole dossers using em.

As above, but must add that not all people on the dole are there through choice. I've been on the dole once - through redundancy - with two kids, don't smoke or drink not even Sky or any sort of subscriptions at the time, just basic food bills and household expenses (no car even) and we struggled. Then when I did get work after about a month the dss decided they had overpaid me by £53 more than they had given me, and I had to pay it all back or risk prison. I had worked for 37 years without claiming benefits up to that point. So yes there are cheaters but not all of them are.
Got to applaud a pub investing £40 in a promotion
Getting families together........ so maximum of 5 if single parent with one child or is it 10 family breakfasts in which case if you had a familes of 15 each would the pub be big enough?
