Nutella 200g for £1.00 at Tesco (and free milk glass!)

Found 7th Nov 2013
For those that missed the 'bulk buy' of Nutella, the small 200g jars are on offer for £1 at Tesco at the moment....and these jars make lovely little milk glasses for the kids when empty. Just discard the lid, stick it in the dishwasher and ta-dah!

The lid makes a great mini frisbee too.

Pro-tip: when you get to the bit where you can't get the last Nutella out with a knife/spoon, sling some hot milk in there and shake that bad boy up. Bam. Nutella milkshake, reduced Nutella wastage. You're welcome.

The chocolate spread isn't bad either.
poundland also stock these

Add a little greenery to that milk when you warm it through and prepare for the good times!
Works best when you dont have work the next day.

Probably best if they eat a lot of this stuff.

Thanks!
One of my daughters eats this stuff all the time..she is nuts about it...
Actually don't just discard the lid, wash it up too and use it to stop dust or insects getting in your drink overnight when you leave your glass on your bedside cabinet for those dry throat nights when you wake up coughing and need a few sips of water!
Is it not cheaper to buy 750g for £3? Unless you buy 200g for a glass and mini frisbee

Who doesn't want a mini Frisbee??! Lol, yeah I guess it is cheaper of course. But in our house only one person eats Nutella and a big jar would go hard before it was finished, making the £1 jar a better buy for me personally....and I do like the little milk glasses

So far this thing gives you delicious chocolatey goodness, a milk glass, a frisbee AND a drinking glass with a lid to stop dust settling onto your drink...

...all for a quid.
OP you should add all these qualities to the title.

Oooops forgot to add....and a single serving of Nutella milkshake (milk sold separately)!

Forget milk glass - we adults like them as a tumbler with Southern Comfort and ice!! Agree about keeping the lid to use as a cover - haven't tried it as a frisby though! Thanks OP

Yes, yes a nice tumbler of Southern Comfort, with a lid, to keep on your bedside cabinet. For medicinal purposes only obviously
A possible salad dressing shaker?

-Or are we starting to exaggerate the number of uses that we can get out of a Nutella jar X)

Nope. Don't forget tealight holder

Loool you guys are hilarious!
THIS STUFF IS AMAZING.
Genius, love that the container is instantly another product
Hilarious! Some of these ideas are just great. How about using the jar as a flour dredger by putting little holes in the lid. This makes it easier to spread flour on a surface evenly when baking and rolling pastry etc.
buying 6 for my next dinner party:

drinks, dessert and entertainment sorted!!
You can use the glass as a spider catcher, great for all those pesky ones you get free with bananas.

and of course turn it upside down and cut out biscuits/scones for a further use... Another plus OP should list ;-p
The glass and lid combo makes an ideal vessel to store and sterilise your dentures when your teeth have fallen out after eating too much of the sugary ****. Ferrero really think of everything.
Don't forget you can use them as tealight/candle holders, under shelf jar storage, glass jar photo frames.

Tip: Paint lids with chalkboard paint for labelling.

The 750g jars are proper screw top lids and can't be used as a glass. Or tealight holder, milkshake maker, lidded night cup, southern comfort tumbler, flour dredger, or cookie cutter. And you don't get a free mini Frisbee. Less is sometimes more my friend
Or use the lid as a tin cover fits perfectly over a tin of beans/spaghetti etc

"...although presently £1.36..." lol
Buy two of these and next time you're at the opticians hand them in, and presto - new set of reading glasses. Just remember to consume all chocolate spread and thoroughly clean. You might just end up looking like that dude on the Halifax adverts.

Not recommended if operating heavy machinery.
