Iceland same price

At this price you can afford to get your kids even fatter !!

Probably on offer for shrove tuesday.

I got same size jar for 99p out of b and m's on wed!

Recently any Nutella purchased from my nearest Tesco has been a really tough texture Think they might be storing it in refrigeration or something. Hot for price though, £1.50 or below is what I am happy to pay for this stuff.

Also currently 1.43 in Morrisons

I don't understand why, a few times now, I've posted a deal and someone comes along saying they got it cheaper elsewhere but they don't post the deal? Isn't that what HUKD is about?

According to our local Upbeat team, this is not bad as it would appear, thank goodness as one of my children really likes it. Instead cereals are mainly the arch enemy at breakfast due to their high sugar content.

Wish I could say I'd buy this for my kids, but it's my missus who eat it all!

Please dont buy this for kids.

Dealseeker I hope you're being ironic, nutella has about 50% sugar, even cereals with cartoons on the box are usually only 40% and if you look around there are plenty with 10-20% or oats with next to none.

£1.40 at Sainsburys.

This is breakfast for champions!

No I was not being ironic. I think it was in comparison to the high sugar cereals of which even Special K is up there, maybe the deal is that not a lot of Nutella is required to spread over the bread v a large bowl of cereal. Bad though if half of Nutella is sugar. My son is going to get a real food complex.

This website is just going to make me fat.

I much prefer peanut butter and jelly (:

Well it because it isn't a deal elsewhere as it's always the normal price...That's the issue with shopping at Tescopoly. They make you think you're are getting a good deal.

Also £1.43 at Morrisons. :-)

Sometimes I really don't get this Country ....kids in the UK are stuffed with McDonalds, fish & chips, kebabs, fizzy drinks etc. BUT are not allowed to have Nutella which is mainly made of natural ingredients (hazelnuts, milk, cocoa) ???

and before you start telling me about sugar content etc. Nutella with moderation means no harm. cheeseburgers, chips, fizzy drink etc with the amount of grease and fat they contain should be totally forbidden from kids.
sorry but when I see a 2 yrs old eating chips and chicken nuggets (and coke) in McDonalds I go mental...

Point out where I suggested anything like kids it's fine kids should be going to McDonalds etc? If op posted McDonalds offers and other commenters were saying how super it is for children I'd no doubt comment on that too, although I imagine I wouldn't need to as McDonalds doesn't fool anyone with its healthy advertising, unlike. However youre out of touch with which fats and oils are bad and good and why, McDonald is so bad because they use 'healthy vegetable oil', palm oil, which is almost as bad as the trans fats they used to use, as it goes rancid when heated, covered up by deodorizing chemicals. Animal fat on the other hand is not bad for humans, even when heated.
This nutella really isn't much better than a comparably small serving of a fizzy drink and you wouldnt send your kids off to school with a shot of pepsi, if you think it is because it has '2 whole hazel nuts in every serving' you've fallen for clever marketing of adverts depicteing smiling skinny children eating it generously smeared on white bread, preparing for a life of insulin resistance.
I do agree about your comment on moderation, but I don't see why you would then exclude other foods that may or may not be any worse.
By the way it is mainly made up of sugar and refined vegetable oil, then hazelnuts.

Got some more today :)))

My kids ask for this for their packed lunch because their friends have it to me chocolate is a treat not for a meal I dont mind them eating chocolate on ocassion but I dont want them to think chocolate for breakfast is ok

Its been extended til the 12th Feb!

Thanks OP

everyone seems to be selling this size nuttella at more or less the same price, either its a nationwide campaign by nutella or there is a quality issue (not dangerous to health) whereby they are selling specific stock off.
