Are the blender cups too big or good enough for wet grinding/mincing? I have recently bought cuisinart mini chopper for £25 using amazon/Amex deal for making sauces and chutneys. It's a cracking deal at this price, but confused should I buy it or not. Help guys....but heat added

Another question :P I have been eyeing up the nutri ninja 1200. I always assumed the nutri ninja was the more powerful one. Shall I take the plunge on this oO thanks in advance

Got mine a couple of days ago from the same deal, honestly the best purchase I've ever made, blends frozen Fruits in a couple of seconds. You get a pair of blades one for milling and one for extracting. In terms of grinding and mincing you will have to get used to it because it requires just a couple of gentle taps because it really is that powerful. You also get a choice of one big and one small cup.
2 years warranty and being from JL makes this a really good deal in my opinion. If you are looking after something even more powerful Amazon sell Salter which is 1000W for £40.

How much better is this than the classic Breville Blend-Active?

Twice as powerful, better materials, Breville appears to be all plastic design. 2 year warranty and some extra accessories.

Nice find, just bought one for my mum after my dad somehow managed to break the one she had!

Bought. Heated. Many thanks.

what about the Aldi version at £29.99 as very tempted to buy this when i saw it a couple dsys ago?

Is the extra £20 for the 1000 series worth it over the 600 series?

The rare moment you see a deal for something you actually need this minute. My mum phoned me earlier saying her Nutribullet has stopped working after 2 years. Could I try and fix it or find her another one? Sure can!

Thanks OP

Why do people buy these things?
It's just a blender, are you seriously telling me you do not posses a blender in 2017?
How about a kettle? do you have one of those or would you like this special miniature one that only makes one cup

Personally I just stick a load of fruit and veg in a normal sized blender, drink half then drink the rest later.
Job done.

Seriously, I do not possess a blender in 2017. Nor have I possessed one in any previous year.

It's actually 35.99 atm amazon.co.uk/Sal…4RQ

I loved my Nutribullet, right up until the point where I tried to get replacement rubber rings for the milling and extractor blades and was told that they are not sold in isolation. I would have to buy entire blade units at ten pounds a piece. It was also implied that it's my fault that they broke because I wasn't supposed to take them out; despite the amount of food that gets trapped underneath them. Err, okay.

Is the extra £20 for the 1000 series worth it over the 600 series?

I went for the 1000 series considering the 900 is being sold for upwards of £75

It depends on what you will use it for. I would say if you want something more powerful, go for Salter because personally, I wouldn't justify £60 for such device. Then again for what I need 600W is more than powerful enough.

Nope, that just made me aware of a group of people who can't tolerate vegetable shakes with a hint of vegetable - God knows how they'd cope with soup with a whole pea in it.

"I can see a few telltale dots of blueberry and grape skin but you don’t notice them on the palate"

"disturbing inch-long threads of celery string"

I was getting ready for bed, but now I'm overcome with a desire to mash the unbearable hipster Ms Henrietta, face first into an overpriced blender. It's my fault, I should have never clicked on a link to the Guardian, their insufferable smug idiocy makes me rage, even when they've confined their fatuous witterings to simple kitchen gadgets..

I think there is a new salter one out with 1200 watts which was on here a few days ago. Sorry too lazy to look for the details myself!!

mate. they are actually really good and work much better than the old style of blender. they are like a different machine. hope you are ok.

They were on offer for £30 regularly last year, so £10 extra just for white?

I used to have the 600 and bought the 1000 two weeks ago when it dropped to sub £60. The 1000W is SO much more powerful and creates much better smoothies

Most people with a 600W Nutribullet likely paid upwards of £60 for it, so yes. Mine was £80 when I bought it and that was after the price dropped by about £20 (if I remember rightly) everywhere.

What would u recommend for baby food?

They're much better than a standard blender. Far quicker and do a better job. The biggest advantage however is cleaning it, takes literally 10 seconds to rinse under the tap.

You could try it although I think the tougher plastics could be difficult to digest. Sorry couldn't resist, I think it will be great to make baby food up.

So you're commenting on this deal thread because of what? Clearly you don't see the need for this blender, but you just felt you'd have to make smug comments on here for what reason? To show off? To impress people with your old fashioned attitude? You just ended up sounding like a tit...

Managed to get it this time, thanks for the heads up i would have gave up otherwise.

I paid like £150 for my 900, and I see that the 1000 is £60 way cheaper than on their website, great deals on these, I love it
