30 day returns? Is that all the warranty they give?

I assume it has the standard 1 year.

Have you tried one of these? I've been looking at bullet blenders and surprisingly the Salter ones seem to come out on top a lot of the time - pretty well priced too - but I don't know anyone who's had one.

I'm not looking for something for smoothies, it's more for blending paste's and sauces when cooking.

I've got a regular jug blender for larger quantities but that and the stick blender struggle with blending small quantities smoothly.

For pastes and sauces a proper food processor would probably be your best option. I bought this for smoothies and drinks.

Nah, food processors are way too big - don't worry, I think we have very different ideas on these - thanks for posting.

I recently bought the Salter 1200W blender and seems quite good so far. One drawback is there is no control on it, so it always operates at one speed and you need to get used to it where once the jar is locked and the motor connected to power will start automatically.
