Thank you, been after one of these for ages, that's my Christmas present sorted.

Gonna start a war here ... which is 'better' this or the Ninja 600 which is a bit dearer?

Although the nutribullet has 2 blades compared to one on this one, I find that the additional power on this one shades it for me. By the way you can order spare cups from the nutrininja website at a fraction of the cost people are advertising on ebay

is this the newer one? might get it if it is

I've gone for this over the bullet .... here's hoping for good things. Thanks to OP for posting.

In August 2014 this model came top in thw which tests

Having owned both, the Nutribullet is far superior in my opinion. The rubber seal on the Ninja creates a nasty smell over time! Nutribullet blends better and is much easier to clean!

Not sure how much difference there is between the BL450 and the Auto IQ model of the Ninja, but I have the latter and it is VERY SIMPLE to clean. Literally takes seconds.

There was a thing about these on daytime TV, there are loads of dangerous fake ones about, don't buy one from ebay or an Amazon marketplace seller.

Very happy with my IQ. Very powerful and easy to clean but very noisy

It shouldn't really. I've got a Ninja blender myself but it's ridiculous to think that if you used either blender in anything other than an incredibly dangerous way that wouldn't happen to you. The blades simply don't transfer that much energy into the liquid to cause it to reach a dangerous temperature (unless you ran it for 20+ minutes perhaps). If she was burnt by the liquid then the liquid was hot when it went in.

Great thanks. I've gone to low fodmap diet due to stomach issues, but downside my intake of fruit and veg has plummeted. This will help as I'll blend up low fodmap fruits and veg.

Seems a great deal, have some heat

I've got a 600w Nutribullet and I'm going to get a second from the Argos link on here. At £64.99 its well worth it.

managed to get currys to price match this instore. So far this is the best blender iv had! never have my smoothies been so smooth!
