Was looking at Nutribullet, etc, but found that the Ninja has much better reviews over in the US (check Amazon.com and youtube comparisons etc).

I got this last week, been impressed.

£79.99 at Costco online (5% extra surcharge for non members)

This was only 79.99 in costco till last week. now it is 99.99. But the BL450UK version is now on sale in costco for 59.99.
The below review says there is not much difference between the 2 models.

Thank you, can you pay the 5% surcharge in store or do you have to sign up for the membership?

Curious.

If I make one that has a 2000w motor can I retail it at 200 quid?

Probably more to be honest. Blendtec is generally regarded as the "best" blender in this category and that has a a 1560w motor I think and retails at about £350

And the blendtec can blend an iPad, so probably no need for 2000w

Heat added but I missed out. Does anyone think this will be discounted again??

Ahh, shame, its been very good.

I think Currys are still doing tge non-IQ one for £60 or so, which is pretty good too.

I'm after the IQ version for my mother as she has weak wrists. As far as I know the non-IQ version requires you to hold the jug down to activate the blender. She has tried a Nutribullet but found it hard to operate as the spring is quite stiff.

The non IQ one does indeed need to be physically pushed down (vibrates quite a bit too) so the IQ would be better for her for sure, cant see it cheap any where now though, but keep an eye out.

It's a real shame that I came across your deal too late. Thanks for sharing it as I'm sure other readers were able to benefit from it. If you do by any chance come across any promotions for the IQ please do let me know via the HUKD messaging system, cheers.

PS: Not sure why some people voted your deal cold as it was one of the best deals around for the IQ. I can only assume they're hardcore Nutribullet supporters, a bit like Apple owners versus Android owners.

Haha, yeah nutribullet sheep.

The Ninja has much better ratings, checkout youtube comparisons and the customer reviews on Amazon US.
