According to new national recommendations, smoothies can count as no more than one of your 5-a-day

Instructions wasn’t clear, blended something else other than fruit and vegetables.
A tub of Ben & Jerry's, half a cup of milk and 2x Kinder Buenos blend VERY nicely... Allegedly... *Cough, splutter*

Bit overpriced for a glorified blender - I bought a chinese clone 7 years ago for £17.99 and its still going strong and has more attachments than this!

This is only worth £19.99 TOPS!

Seems like rubbish.
As long as you have some variety in there, i don't see how the vitamins and nutrients in fruit would be "lost" by slushing it up.

The fibre is lost I believe, or rather "its destroyed".

only one 150ml glass and only as one serving. any more is damaging to your teeth, glucose management and weight

btw:
the guy behind nutritbullet thinks that chocolate is an octave of the sun (whatever the fock that means), gravity is a toxin, and that mushrooms are from space

I need a new blender but something with atleast 1L if not I don't think I can be bothered
The fibre may be compromised but a good smoothie is still a nice source of micronutrients. Blood sugar levels rise quicker than if you'd just eat the fruit whole, so this may be worth considering if you're watching that. I normally recommend eating the fruits you enjoy whole for maximum benefit, and using the blender for predominantly low-sugar recipes using foods you might not usually eat (coconut milk instead of fruit juice concentrate, plenty of greens such as kale or spinach). This way you minimise the blood glucose impact and still add some healthy bits and bobs to your daily intake. Of course, if you have twelve a day there may have some negative consequences, and eating things whole is always better as we've known since the dawn of humanity, but there's no harm in including a healthy smoothie especially when you consider some of the crap we drink on a daily basis

I'm going to try that pork pie and Guinness smoothie diet.... I'll look like Arnie in his prime!!
Anyone have any actual *TASTY* recipes using greens and/or veg?

I use mine to make almond and cashew milk, for which it is excellent.

I don't use it fir fruit as I prefer to eat whole fruit
All do yourselves a favour and go onto AliExpress where items like this are a fraction of the price and pretty much identical.
I bought my 900 series back in 2016. It's still the best gadget in my kitchen.

I don't know who owns it. It sells knock offs as well as everything else. It's all the same stuff and all made in China anyway.

Mines been sat at the back of the kitchen cupboard for 2 years. Same model.
Great price, but just a warning for anyone who wants to do the hard stuff (ice cubes, frozen fruits, butternut squash, etc), this will struggle. Need a 1000w really, and I'd recommend the Ninja, which is often on offer somewhere.

Not so my friend - and if so then it proves these Ninjas are more nana than Ninja and Bullet more bull than bullet - the Hinari Genie i posted above is 230watts and does ice cubes and everything else and been going 7 years.
Top marks on Which magazine!

It just goes to prove you give a product a kickass name and all the sheeple will fall in line!
