nutsy - B&M's smooth chocolate & hazlenut spread £1 for 400g (cheaper than Lidl)

You'd be nutsy to pay more! Here are the ingredients for Nutella:
Sugar, Palm Oil, Hazelnuts (13%), Fat-Reduced Cocoa (7..4%), Skimmed Milk Powder (6.6%), Whey Powder (Milk), Emulsifier: Lecithin (Soya), Vanillin

The main difference with nutsy from B&M is that (a) it costs £1 vs £2.70 Nutella/ Tesco) and (b) it only contains 5% hazlenuts. I think it's safe to say you're not buying a chocolate spread so that your kids get some nuts in the morning

Main question should be 'How does it compare to Nutella?'

Badly.

Do a quick search online for Nutsy and there is not 1 site selling it for more than £1.. lots of places to buy in-store and online..
Should do your homework before posting if you don't want negative comments...
This stuff tastes terrible . Nothing like Nutella

Nope - main question is how it compares to Lidl/ Aldi variants
Asda sell a chocolate hazelnut spread for 80p but hardly any hazelnuts (0.5%) in it. Tastes okay if you are mainly wanting a chocolate spread.

I found the chocolate spread in Aldi was more solid and difficult to spread than the Lidl equivalent. Aldi one had a different taste. Both are pleasant.

Asda/lidl variants much better than this. Tried it once and had to chuck it, worst one I tried unfortunately.

Just checked the Lidl ingredients & it's 13% hazelnuts, last time I buy this poopy B&M one
Yeah I got the lidl one recently, £1.09 I believe, tastes like nutella as best as I remember, easy to spread too but have just been eating from jar lol.

True.

It's like trying to spread a cheap chocolate bar on your toast. Rock hard.
S'pose you could skip the toast and just eat it straight out of the tub with a spoon
if there's one thing I've learned from this post, it's go to lidl, the rest sound terrible.

It's this price in every store that sells this... So how can it be hot? There is nowhere that sells it for more than a pound... I only mentioned the op's b&m, pound land and pound stretcher, all of which have it in stock... So don't know what your on about

He casts, he strikes, reel him in.... LOL
If you don't like nutty chocolate try this

21p per 100g (84p for 400g) makes it around same as ASDA smartprice choc spread but much, much better.

Kruger are a German company they don't seem to sell anything else in the UK but they have products elsewhere in Europe. How bizarre.
