NuWave Living £99.99 (Fulfilled by Amazon)

The induction hob which seems to be able to cope with simmering due to 5˚C temperature increments up to a max of 250˚C. It appears to be the most versatile induction hob I have seen online. It is more expensive than the Tefal and others but the functionality shouild be worth the extra.

Three wattage settings 900 / 1,500 / 2,000 with 6 easy-to-use pre-programmed temperature settings.

One Q&A on Amazon states induction pan size from 7cm to 30cm can be used. Apparently it is stated in the manual.

Could opt for 2, 3 or 4 year Amazon Protect Cover for peace of mind. Needs to be taken out on same day as the purchased product. 4 year cover is £14.25: amazon.co.uk/Pro…I6/

The heat will conduct across the base of the pan/pot. Although with larger pots/pans a bit of stir may be necessary. As would be the case on many gas or electric hobs, when using larger pots or pans.

The ikea induction hob has 18.5cm cooking zone: ikea.com/gb/…30/

I think I read the Tefal induction hob has 19cm.

Commercial ones are bigger such as the Buffalo: nisbets.co.uk/buf…208 at 26cm.

What happened? An error message or just no power?

Was it good when it was functioning?

Maybe you were unluky and got a dud? Reviews seem good on Amazon UK and the US PIC Gold which seems to be
slightly lower powered. The US Precision model has a high review count (1000+) and positive overall. I also looked at reviews for the other NuWave products to see what people were rating them as.

I've seen good and bad reviews for different single induction hobs. Quite tricky to decide which to go for. This one seems to have better functionality wth the small temperature adjustments.

Yep. Amazon has raised its price by £23.09 since I posted the deal and probably from when 3-Monkeys fulfilled by Amazon went out of stock.
