What's the world come to 529 for a fe 1080, to think just a few months back i passed the opportunity of getting custom one for 350
Madness how much these cost, but still cheap heat given

It was off amazon an ''used'' model with 20% off, it was a Evga Superclocked one if i remember rightly would have come in at 340, ended up getting a used 1060 3g for 142, could of also a had evga 1070 for 280 but at the time I though 1060 is best bang for the money, if only i knew

That's interesting
I've got this card as got it cheap off the brother in law when he upgraded to a 1080ti. Looks nice in an S340 case and Is a beast of a card but do yourself a favour and wait til the aftermarket cooled cards come down in price or put a water cooler on it. If it's left on default fan curve it's nice and quiet but underclocks itself to keep it around 82 degrees (thermal throttles). Think Jays2cents did a video on it. If you change the fan curve to stop this happening then it's as LOUD AS APOLLO 13 TAKING OFF IN YOUR BEDROOM!

Hopefully it's a return to normalisation after coin prices droped.
Check out the cyptocurrency value charts, the bubble burst Dec/Jan. Currency values have only fallen since then. GPU prices should accordingly return to more sensible prices over the next few months.

Yup blame the crypto world for the price hike, my 1080ti costs 670 at the time now all selling for 800+
can't see why this is cold. If you want a 1080 it's the cheapest around!

Bitcoin has already started to recover, up the last 2 days.

I was pretty fortunate I managed to get my GTX 1080Ti last April for £700. Close enough to MSRP price before crypto craze happened
