I have looked around for the cheapest GeForce 285 and ebuyer seem to have the best deal. I have looked around the net for deals and they average to around £323.00

This deal is a steal as you get free delivery and VAT is included at this price. If anyone finds a GTX 285 at a better price than this one then please post it here. They only have 10 in stock so may sell out fast!

Thanks

The card is a beast but with Windows 7 & therefore DirectX 11? possibly out in July now, you would be crazy to spend this much on a DirectX 10 gfx card. Yes, some Direct X 11 features will be supported on DirectX 10 cards but many of them will not.

A better buy is a 1GB 4870 at appx £190, which you should be able to sell for £140 on ebay if you are quick when the first DirectX 11 cards come out.

I would'nt worry too much about directx 11 compatable cards

as for directx10, there is only a handful of games and its been out for almost 2 years.
