Well I never. They were stacked on top of each other in that little box. Thank you!

Too be honest, they're like gold right now. They'll be gone once a few people here see this and will be sold on at a profit. So I'd grab one and if you don't like it, sell it on at original or profit.
Okay, fine.
Grabbed one. Cheers op
Cheers not a deal but it’s been oos so long it feels like one, heat.
Pay in euros with a fee free card and save yourself £16 ish

I went with PayPal at original price. PayPal's fees etc probably would have eradicated that saving lol also, Euros isn't cheap like that on there, but CZK is even cheaper.

Cheers OP, I'm going to return my Shield TV tube to Amazon and get this. Haven't been happy with the performance of the tube, it struggles with remux 4k files. Hopefully the extra 1gb of ram in the pro will help.

What's the exchange rate for 219EUR? Is it really a £16 saving these days?
Why is this better than firestick
I've been waiting for this since the beginning of lock down. Can't believe I nearly paid £300 for it from a well known auction site.

How? It's 219 Euros which is £195.89 according to Google.

It shouldn't do. I've seen 4K files with high bitrate playing on older Shields. Hmm

No. A measly few quid. CZK is cheaper though.

Isn’t €219 roughly £199 after using a clarity card?
Istanbul_Kop22/05/2020 14:58

£14 about right?

5.690,00 CZK is £186 roughly in GBP. So yes, £14 or so saving.

I'd seen reviews saying it could cope with high bitrate but it just seems to struggle. I've tried playing them in Kodi, MX Player and VLC. Kodi crashes every time and the shield remote looses connection for about 30 seconds. MX Player and VLC struggle as well.

Damn. They have the exact same processor etc. I've seen a video on YouTube of a dude playing a 4K 400mbps video flawlessly. Good luck with your return.

Thanks, I'm hoping the extra gig of ram and 64 bit os make the difference.
I want this but I've not idea what I'd use it for, mainly plex?

Yeah. it sticks out like a sore thumb when used ones are going on there for £300. Don't know why I'm surprised anymore.

I got one though, thanks OP.
When ordering, did anyone not get an order number? All I got was;

Thank you for your purchase. Your order is currently being processed. You will receive an email shortly confirming your purchase and including delivery information.

No email either. Strange.
Two are already being sold on eBay. Looks like someone purchased two. Both using the same photo, but two different accounts.

£298 and £299

That was quick.
