It used to be a new gen bought more performance at the same price tier. The last few years Nvidia have pushed it so you need to move up a price tier to get an increase in performance. Now we have their midrange card at almost £600. Which is eye watering. The market is unchecked as there is no competition currently. AMD look to be slowly dying. Intel are looking to make their move but they’re no saints themselves. Consoles are looking like the best way forwards at the moment. Which I never thought I’d say
A 20% price increase can't be justified just by pointing out a single other example of something that's risen by 20%, when most things haven't.
Not yet convinced. This gets the news about the prices out of the way now, in a few weeks the main topic could be about how fast the cards are.
I TOLD YOU THAT YOU'D BE DISAPPOINTED! Hilarious pricing. No reason to sell my 1080 TI cards at a loss now People will rather buy a 1080 TI with 11GB GDDR5X for 4K games than a 2070 with 8GB
It just works
