Nyko Intercooler (XBOX 360) is £16.99 delivered from Amazon.co.uk

Reduce the internal operating temperature of the 360 to prolong the consoles lifespan. The Intercooler 360 is a snap on cooling attachment that easily connects to the XBox 360 to significantly reduce the internal temperature of the console.

The Intercooler 360 provides increased air-flow throughout the XBox 360 which allows the internal circuitry to perform at a cooler temperatures and reduces wear and tear on the unit. No internal modification of the XBox 360 is required. A pass through power connection utilises the existing XBox 360 power supply negating the need for an extra AC adaptor. The unit also powers on and off automatically with the Xbox 360 and the intercoolers small size will fit in tight spaces with your console displayed in either horizontal or vertical position.

I heard about these a while ago. i was just wondering whether anyone has used one of these?

I think its wrong what we as consumers have to shell out even more of our own money just to keep this thing going, really annoys me.... my 2nd 360 was just picked up today for failing to read discs and stopping reading them during games, very annoying

Ive not had any problems with my 360 as of yet (TOUCH WOOD!!!) but am interested in using this for prevention af any possible problems.

i currently use a standard def TV so the console isn't using its full power, but i don't want to find it overheating once i have purchased my new TV!!!

Just seen on amazon: " 5 used & new available from £7.62 "

don't know what the postage is, but if you dont mind second hand you could get a bar:smile: gin!!

do we honestly need these for the xbox 360? im not convinced that the multiple problems people have had are due to overheating. im certainly not paying £16.99 for this ;-)

I'd be wary of these things as highlighted on my link - we already know how temperamental the 360 is... better to just raise it off the floor on struts or something?
