Oh, I do love health-fraud and a good unevidenced placebo!

Brace yourselves for the anecdotes from people that don't understand how science works.

Anyone find these work?

For me they had no effect whatsoever.
I use this, lavender essential oil capsule & chamomile combination & gives me a great 7 hours sleep minimum. Plus do daily calm & sleep meditation via Calm app before going to sleep. Altogether, works brilliantly!

Yes. Act as a relaxant

These work but beware the next morning you will feel like you've been on a night out and have a hangover!

Zombie springs to mind until at least mid day...

Use the non-herbal ones
I find a little spray of jasmine on the pillow works - I'm pretty much an insomniac. tried pretty much all herbal products. Horses for courses tho. Cheap and lasts me atleast a year.

As a insomniac, a spray of jasmine works for you?

It helps. I have difficulty getting to sleep then wake up a few times throughout the night. I suffer with stress and anxiety but don't want any prescribed meds, prefer mindfulness, yoga and trying homeopathic measures.

The jasmine helps but, like I say, it's horses for courses and won't work for everyone. Think I bought it from home bargains last time.

I completely agree with you, these don’t and will never replace a clinical intervention such as a GP.
However if people try them and they work for them, what’s the harm?
Ordered
These do not work, use the real one, they do knock you out. Feel a bit durgh the next day though.
They don't work and neither does the non herbal nytol. Waste of money. Buy the antihistamine "doxylamine succinate" off EBAY (shipped from USA). You'll have the best night's sleep ever.

Did nothing for me. The only ones that actually make you drowsy and sleepy are the nytol diphenhydramine ones
White noise is great for sleep loads on YouTube
These do make you more tired in the morning for some reason
I use melatonin 3mg if I can’t sleep, works every time and hardly any groggy feeling the next morning. Worth a look if you haven’t already.
I take one hay fever tablet a day that knocks me out

Where do you get it from?
I used to buy from eBay or amazon a while ago, and stocked up. If melatonin isn’t available then either 5HTP or ZMA are both good alternatives.

The only thing I’ve noticed with ZMA is for me, they tend to cause lucid crazy dreams at night lol
I prefer the kalm night pills to these also use "this works" deep pillow spray
diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25mg

that is pretty much the only thing that will guarantee a great nights sleep

you can buy 600 of them on eBay for about £9.00 delivered

there can be a tolerance to them after a while though so don’t use too often

i have tried everything and these are the very best

Dont be so hasty to judge I took one once and that night I slept, I sleep every night fine but that specific night I also slept so they must work... have faith.
Just because they are herbal and didn't work for you, doesn't mean they won't work for someone else. I was once given a herbal relaxant by my doctor because I was stressing so much I couldn't eat without gagging. I didn't expect them to work but they did. They stunk to high heaven but my cat loved the smell. He threw them off my shelf once, opened the cap with his teeth and ate half the contents. For the next 2 hours he was he happiest cat on earth. Can't say he wasn't impartial and believed in placebos, can you?

Enjoy your dementia that antihistamine youre recommending is a very strong anticholinergic.
I suffer from insomnia as well these only ever worked for the first two nights after that nothing. They may relax u but will take a couple of hours to work even though it says takes one hour to work. Tried sleeping tablets and they stopped working as well. Now I’m on Amitriptyline 10mg which gives me good nights sleep every night.
