Try herbal Nytol first if that doesn’t help then proceed to over the counter nytol at the pharmacy. There are stronger options over the pharmacy but if that doesn’t work then you would need to speak to the doctor. Over the counter medicines are like, nytol 25mg, nytol 50mg(1 a night), sominex and phenergan.
Try night nurse for a good sleep
heat added
None of these herbal stuff worked for me. Anyone know where you can buy some tranquilizer from?
Kirkland Sleep Aid the best thing out there!
A bottle of night nurse will make you sleep

Can’t beat that stuff when you’ve got an awful flu (or insomnia)

Phenergan is the only one that makes me sleep.

Used to for me but now makes no difference.

The Nytol syrup just leaves a burning feeling in my throat. It made no difference to my insomnia.
I'm an agnostic, dyslexic insomniac.

I lie awake all night wondering if there really is a dog....

You'd be taking down far too much paracetamol with that. Robitussin for dry coughs contains the active ingredient putting you to sleep, dextromethorphan, and nothing else. Not recommended though.
