I've had multiple issues also, being accused of damaging CPU pins on a prebuilt system so they didn't have to replace it, to waiting 2 months for a graphics card RMA that they forgot about

Every single problem I've had with my pre built they told me was somehow my fault or at least wasn't theirs. They once asked me to send my machine back for a fee to see if they could fix a problem. They encouraged me to buy an extra fan to fix the problem even though it was a machine built by them. The fan did not fix my problem.

In fairness, my machine does work and I'm pretty happy with it. But even though I have the 3XS warranty support nonsense, I try my best to troubleshoot on my own.

Never again Scan, never again.
I sympathise with, and echo everyone's sentiments about Scan. Worst company ever. Should things go wrong and equipment faulty, they will try at every opportunity to not accept responsibility.

Recently spent approx. £4000 with them on equipment, and after a few days usage, a couple of items developed faults. Scan, without any evidence, grounds for, or rational justification decided to void my warranty, and outright refused to replace or refund. After a month of going through the proper channels and communicating to various ranks within the company and trying to resolve the issue amicably, I was left with no choice but to consult with legal council & begin legal proceedings to take them to small claims court. It was only at this moment that they finally made some poor (BS) excuse, apologised and agreed to honour their contract with me as a customer by agreeing to replace or refund.

I like a good deal just like any other HUKD member, but lesson learnt. NEVER AGAIN! For fool me twice, shame on me.

I ended up opting for a full refund and buying the exact same item from Amazon (which costed more because the item was on offer at Scan) but I would rather pay little more for good customer support when sensitive electrical devices go wrong than to have to suffer the ordeal I endured with this company.

I (as well as others who have commented before me on their negative experiences with this company) do not wish upon anyone to go through what I had to, and have taken the time to share my experience so you don't have to.

BE WARNED!
Good price for a great case, but having owned a Source 340 for a couple years now, a word of warning: The side window uses an extremely soft acrylic which scratches if you so much as look at it funny. I'd highly recommend spending a bit more to get the elite version with the tempered glass panel.
