The link to Money supermarket doesn’t say about Volt. So no 50gb and no upgrade to your Virgin internet. Not all of the O2 deals have access to Volt. (edited)

    Replying to

As of April 12th, it just needs to be the address that’s the same. The name has been removed due to complications with Volt

Could you upgrade your original tariff with this offer?
Or, would bit be a new SIM?
    Yes you can

Just click on Get Deal - go through the checkout and choose upgrade existing number and login to your O2 account

For anyone upgrading just note that you will initially lose all your volt benefits but they automatically reapply within a few days

Multosave question...If I order a new contract do I and the new contract both get 20% off and 25gb or is it only for the new one
Original contract doesn't get the multi save 20% discount, only additional ones do. If you have virgin media, you get volt benefits on both O2 contracts.

If taking this deal out aa a new customer can you bring your old number across? & how do you get the volt broadband boost applied?
If its an O2 number then straightaway - NO
(Yes you can - but you have to port it out to other network and then port it back to O2 again)
Once you have O2 sim - and if you have VM at the same address (I think same name too) you can log in to your MyO2 account and activate Volt benefit from there.
I think it takes about two week.

The 20GB deal on Uswitch is £8, so that is cheaper than this? Not sure how teh volt stuff works though.
    This deal is 25gb though.
I'm waiting for the £8 30gb deal to show up again.

But, just upgraded a friend for the £12 50gb deal.
She was paying £11.13 for 25gb.

Do you get free wifi pods with the volt upgrade? Get a lot of wifi dropouts on vm.broadband

How do I get discount and upgrade broadband and mobile data?
I'm with Virgin mobile and broadband.
google is your friend, search o2/virgin volt then call customer services (both unfortunatly) (edited)

Multi save only works on specific contracts
Not sure which specific ones you're referring to but I've got mine via uswitch £8, wife ported in on same deal and multi save discount is applied no problem .

Just noticed in the o2 Volt FAQs it says:

“If you choose to leave O2 by requesting a PAC or STAC then you'll lose access to your mobile data boost however, you'll keep your higher broadband speeds with Virgin Media. Likewise, if you choose to leave Virgin Media you'll keep your increased mobile data allowance on O2.”

So once the 12 month o2 contract runs out, you can cancel it and keep the upgraded speed / extra Wi-Fi pods? Seems… rather unlike Virgin!
