Hi, just a heads-up really. When my O2 contract recently finished, I called up their cancellations dept and took out a new 18 months sim-only deal.

Upfront cost is £35pm for which you get 600 mins, 1000 text and a bolt on such as free internet. After guaranteed cashback (subject to you sending in at least your last bill), it works out as £5 per month.

I think that this is a wicked deal. I personally purchased an Iphone as it works out much cheaper to buy it up-front and pay £5 per month for the contract.

Need a bit more info to say if this is a hot deal.
Who gives you the cashback, how much and when?
Why would O2 want to see a bill that they sent to you in the first place?

O2 themselves directly doing a cashback offer?

Do you have this in writing?

its a standard carphone warehouse o2 retention offer. dont know how can dis b a deal. needs to .e expired

Thanks for the heads up, im due to renew soon and im paying £20pm for that deal atm

last year cpw offered it to me with 600 cashback. try to haggle a bit.......

I was thinking that :?

£35 per month is carp for 600 mins and 1000 txts sim only too
coz I'm only paying £19.50 sim only from 02 website for 600 mins and 1200 txts and bolt on with 30 day contract not 18 months!

Ok. I have expired it. Hopefully someone will be helped. Do not understand the mentality of some people on this forum.
