Quidco states:

Cashback will initially track @ £40, but will be validated @ £70.

Cashback will be validated two months (60 days) after the successful installation has been made.

Posted a couple of times before,
I got this last month
No problems so far.

Yeah I took it up the last time it was on, haven't had too many problems apart from 2 times I had to phone the customer support (UK based) to get the router reset.

This is a good deal took this up last time it was posted and just got paid the quidco for it last week. Only thing I would say is using as wireless choose the channel yourself and not go with the preset one as it caused a few probs with connection staying on to start, then got the ip for the router from o2 customer service and been fine ever since.

No it hasn't - the 3 months free and £70 offer was available briefly over the New Year period only.

How long is the £70 Quidco offer for?

probably just over the Easter break. Don't think it lasted too long last time with quidco AND the 3 months free

I was on the standard broadband package and called them up if I could have the 3months free on the premium package as it works out the same price as the standard over the year. And they said yes although I am now in a new 12month contract as a result.

Also, I don't think you have to stick to the premium package for the year (but check with o2 to confirm this), I think you can downgrade to the standard package possibly saving you another £22.05 for the 9months effectively making your broadband free.

Great deal! I have not got round to ordering a BT line for my new flat and have been using a T-Mobile Dongle. Have just ordered the BT line but guess I will need the BT number before I can go ahead and place the order?

I'll give my dad a kick in the **** to call up BT and see if they will upgrade our broadband to 20 meg + free box for nothing. If not, we'll switch to O2 and try and make the most of this offer.

Many thanks for drawing it to our attention, H+R added, and I'm sure it'll be useful to many!

Does anyone else get the security warning when clicking buy now? This happened the last time the offer was one and stopped me buying. It carries on for each page even to the payment details numbers. Maybe its as simple as the images are not hosted on the same server as the text but would rather be safe. If everyone that ordered last time around got the message and ordered, I would assume all is well.

Why am I unable to buy anything from o2's site. I always get to the very end and then it tells me to call them!!?

Hmm... my new BT line only activates in a week and they say they can't guarantee the phone number so I guess I'll have to wait to see if the Quidco lasts till then...

Ordered this last night when it was £40 cashback on quidco and it's tracked at £50. Don't know how much i'll get.

Dam I shoulda waited, ordered o2 broadband few days ago on £50 quidco. Dont matter the 10 meg speed am getting is way amazing compared with the mid package 2 meg broadband I was receiving from sky.

Not again....don't post deals net of the Quidco. Remember, Quidco is not guaranteed, so rules are not to include it in the price of the deal.

They still state the price without Quidco though. And although not 100% guaranteed, I think Quidco is about as close as you can get to guaranteed. I have earnt almost £800 with Quidco and the only problems I have had is a couple of slow payments.

So why does the subject and also the price quoted say £18.11?????

What is the cheapest way to be an o2 customer to qualify for the discount - just be payg and top up £5 every other month is the obvious or does anyone know of any other good offers?

To the 2 that mentioned it, how much did your new BT line installation cost you?

So did I and I just got the Quidco payment. Also had to phone CS twice, very quick to answer and dealt with problems efficiently, plus it's a freephone number!

i've been on the premium package for over a year and just phoned them up about the 3 months free and they've given it to me but i've had to start a new 12 month contract.
Brilliant isp and i can't see anyway i'll be switching so i'm happy to save almost £30 and stay with them another year.

sent you some rep m8 for the tip ;-)

I got this deal in the new year and have had no problems so far. I've got my £70 quidco in the bank now paid as said 60 days or so after activation.
Hot deal.

no, top up £10 every 3 months plus i get 500 free minutes using my mobile from home each time i top up.
plus you get rewards like 10% back so they give me an extra £1 after i've topped up £10

Wish O2 would unbundle my exchange:x

Does anyone know what the actual O2 'fair usage policy' is for download limits? i.e. at what level you're likely to run into trouble for downloading too much?

They're pretty vague on their site, promising the usual BS 'unlimited' usage, but in the small print FUP it says you must not "...make excessive use of...the network" ?

Thanks.

i must have easily uploaded/downloaded over 100 gb in a month and never had a problem but i don't know their actual allowances.
i've read people saying they've d/loaded over 200gb a month without problem.

Nothing as the house already has the BT lines installed from the previous owner, just disconnected. I think it's about £112 if they have to install them.

Anyone know if you have to use their router or can I stick to my Netgear?

If BT want to charge me £100+ to reconnect this flat they can get stuffed and I will just go to Cable.

Why is this expired!? Has the Quidco deal ended?

ARIGOLD;4877098

you can use a netgear but i've found the router they provide to be fine

Just checked and deal of £70 Quidco and 3 Months free still shows as valid so not sure why expired??

im guessing this is only for new customers only? im with o2 at the mo paying £10 a month for the middle package. and if theres deals like this going on (working out to £18.11 for the whole year on a premium service) surely i should be able to get similar at another provider?

existing customers dont get ANY benefits to be honest, always best of being a new customer.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. Big difference from the 2 meg sky to the 10meg o2. I also believe you had limited usage with sky whereas o2 is unlimited.
